Levo Movement employes an open source methodology based on the Atlas Movement and Stretch Therapy systems. It employs a broad spectrum of physical culture practices, including various disciplines of weighted and unweighted resistance practices, and a myriad of stretching, movement, and mobility modalities.
This workshop is designed to increase balance and body awareness through the use of a variety of development tools, and the exploration of arm balances, such as the handst...and, Croc and the QDR. We will also be learning some necessary movement flows that incorporate balancing elements.
This workshop is open to individuals of all levels, it will run 1.5hrs (but we usually run over!) and costs 10 pounds for non-members of the hosting gym, and 5 pounds for members. For any additional information, please do not hesitate to message me via Facebook or email (james@levo-movement.com)

The Levo Movement Stretching System is an open source methodology that is based on the Atlas Movement and Stretch Therapy systems. It employs a broad spectrum of physical culture practices, including various disciplines of weighted and unweighted resistance practices, and a myriad of stretching, movement, and mobility modalities. The focus of this workshop is to develop lower body flexibility, mobility, balance and strength, and to find comfort, poise, and grace.
This workshop is open to individuals of all levels, it will run 1.5hrs (but we usually run over!) and costs 10 pounds for non-members of the hosting gym, and 5 pounds for members. For any additional information, please do not hesitate to message me via Facebook or email (james@levo-movement.com)

Today I did James training for climbing workshop and was really impressed.

I have been climbing for 30 years and still learnt a lot. He helped clear up some grey areas and also has given new tools and skills to continue improving. The information was delivered with clarity and purpose. I would really recommend this workshop for climbers old and new.

Many thanks for the session today. Realised I’ve been doing fake press-ups my whole life! Anyone who wants to know how to do a real one best get in touch with James.....oh, and also make sure you’ve got a big bag of Epsom salt at home!!

James is a great teacher/coach. Whether you are trying to get fit, flexible, strong or just feel good with movment, he is your guy. My flexibility is always improving when I'm working with him without sacrificing my striength. I hgihly recommend getting into one of his classes or a one to one lesson.

James did a session on strength and conditioning at the climbing project with a focus on improving your climbing. It was a mixture of coaching with practical exercising which left me a bit broken but better for it. His advice is a real game changer and the course was delivered with a relaxed and positive attitude. I have no doubt in my mind that James could help me achieve goals where I would have previously wondered if they were even achievable. Great course James, I thoroughly recommend his training for anyone looking to improve their fitness and flexibility :-)

I worked alongside James as a Personal Trainer myself and attend his classes as much as possible. I learnt so much about stretch therapy, strength, mobility, and much more from James.

His knowledge and experience is unbeatable, and there are always lots of laughs along the way too.

A big personality, an even bigger smile, and an excellent trainer and teacher.

I recently attended a movement and flexibility class at Levo; I found myself both engaged and challenged throughout the session, and certainly learned a few things.

I have also studied martial arts under James and can say that whilst he delivers his classes with a relaxed attitude and an injection of humour, he keeps a strong hold on direction and detail when it comes to the technicals. He is one of those people who undertake everything they do with determination and he clearly delights in being able to pass the knowledge on to his students.

If you get the opportunity to train with James, I recommend you take it.

I have been training with James for two years now and I'm so glad i took that step. Because of back problems and arthritis I knew I needed a trainer who would treat me as an individual rather than give a one size fits all programme and his in depth knowledge of yoga and stretch therapy was what was lacking in my training regime. James is so passionate about his work and has a wealth of knowledge in many areas which has helped me to achieve my goals of strength and toning while increasing flexibility and remaining pain free. And most importantly he makes it fun. I am in the best shape I've ever been in which is quite something at 41, thanks James!

I have been training with James a little over two years now. When I met him I was an absolute crock with a historic spinal fracture, a knackered knee and several years of rheumatoid arthritis all of which had combined to stop me from exercising for a good while. I knew I needed someone who understood the dynamics of how my body simply didn't work and could accommodate my injuries. After much determination and a fair dose of humour and laughter I am now able to achieve work in the gym that I couldn't even do before any of my injuries and at the age of 47 now I think that's pretty good going!! I trust this man implicitly and cannot recommend him enough as a trainer. Work with him, you won't regret it!!!

Having trained with James for 2.5years now I can honestly say he has helped me develop my physical fitness and my mental approach to training no end, I’m constantly learning new things and have recently increased my stretching and mobility sessions with him. I’ve seen a massive improvement with my flexibility already and can’t wait to progress this even further. I would recommend James to anyone, whether they’re new to training or been training for years, I guarantee he’ll be able to teach you something new.

Attended a strength and conditioning workshop with James. I really enjoyed it and learnt a load of new exercises. Also covered some sport specific warm ups and movements that will help with my climbing. James was very knowledgeable and taught in a way that was easy to understand and accessible for the whole group which was of mixed ability.

An awesome Flexibility and movement workshop @ColchesterClimbingProject this afternoon, my 2 girls and I enjoyed it. My girls are 8 and 10 and they stayed interested and focused for the 3 hours!!

For myself it was great to learn new techniques and get some great advice.

James was knowledgeable and answered all the questions. A great session I highly recommend it to anyone - literally anyone!!! Thankyou
