Mappleton Car Park

Not a bad beach for this coastline. Fraisthorpe is nicer, but parking is free here if you get there early enough to find a spot (not a big car park).

At the end of the day it's a car park but the view here is something special. One of my places to ponder and set the world to rights. Amenities are clean.

A lovely wide sandy beach with limited parking. It's a downhill walk from the carpark to the beach but uphill coming back!

Great place for picnics on the beach and walking dogs and a nice little cafe just round the corner that is also pet friendly.
