Martini Flyers are a group of model flying enthusiasts who have recently re-located to a new site at Hull Aero Club, Linley Hill Road, Leven, Beverley, East Yorkshire

Martini Flyers are a group of model flying enthusiasts who fly at the Hollym Airfield, Holmpton Road, Hollym and also Roos Sports Field, Roos. We have members who fly aeroplanes, helicopters or sometimes both, using electric, internal combustion (i. c. ) engines and powerless gliders. We also have members with outside R. C. interests in electric hovercraft, cars and boats.
The club is affiliated to the BMFA and all flying members must have BMFA insurance. The club instructors are willing to test fly prospective members’ models providing the safety officer approves the model as fit to fly. We provide a free training service to all members to B. M. F. A. standard and we have a B. M. F. A. club examiner.
The club meetings are held at the Haven Arms, Hedon. HULL HU12 8HH. on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 8: 00pm. The main flying times are Mon. - Sat. 10. 00am to 8. 00pm and Sunday’s 10. 00am to 6. 00pm. Monday & Wednesday evenings are specially set aside for learners (all learners can fly anytime any day of the week providing they are accompanied by an experienced club member), No i. c. Models are flown after 8. 00pm on all day’s. (electric can fly until dusk).
