Menagerie Description
Originally based at the Hummingbird in Birmingham, Menagerie became the biggest indie club in the UK during the early 1990s and was voted best club in the UK by readers of the NME.
For one night only, the biggest pre-millennium indie hits will be playing in Hull, as Menagerie stages a night at Fruit.
Featuring the biggest indie hits of the 80s and 90s along with classics from the 60s onwards, Saturday 16 July is the date to dig out your favourite old band t-shirt and re-live your youth at an all-vinyl retro night at Fruit, Hull 7th October 2017

Starting to get excited about the World Cup. In 1990, the FA departed from its tradition of naff football songs and commissioned one of the world's coolest bands to write the official World Cup song. The result is this beauty - a song that made football cool again and a run all the way to the semi finals. Coincidence? I think not!
Anyone stuck for something to do on a bank holiday weekend could do worse than this. A night of live 90s indie - mention “Menagerie” on the door and it’s just a fiver to get in at a legendary Hull club.
