This is the most wonderful pub I have ever been in. I travel the world and not seen anything like this. Homely warm , full of character. Open fire's gas lights. Not fake. The real deal. The beer is fantastic and prices are great. Try the export stout. Love this beer. Will be back to visit sooner rather than later

Charming drinking establishment full of character with a step back in time. Variety of Samual Smiths drinks complemented with a good food menu. Local pies available. Several small rooms to choose from as well as the main bar or games room with open fires. If you like your period dramas, worth a visit (fancy dress optional)

Best pub around. Gas light, real fires, like walking around an old house from room to room.
