Newbridge Lakes Description
Newbridge Lakes consists of a Seven acre Specimen Lake and Two one acre ponds all set in beautiful Surroundings
It offer some of the best Carp and Coarse Fishing in Yorkshire
2009 produced four different Thirties and Many twenties several of which where just below the magicThirty pound mark
There is secure night fishing for just £15 per 24 hours

Newbridge Lake is one of the Premier Carp Lakes in the North of England. Nearly 7 acres in size and surrounded by 8 acres of woodland.
Containing specimen size fish of : -
Mirror carp 28lb + , Common carp 34lb + , Grass carp 19lb + , Ghost carp 32lb + , and Crucian carp to 3lb
Bream up to 14lb, Roach to 3lb, Rudd to 2. 5lb, Perch to 3. 5lb, Tench to 10lb, Eels to 7lb, and chub to 4lb
Harriff Pond is heavily stocked with Common, Mirror, and F1 carp up to 14lb + , tench to 3lb, roach to 3lb , chub to 2lb , bream to 3lb ide to 3lb perch to 2lb rudd to 1lb
Skeckling Pond is stocked with Common, Mirror, and Ghost Carp up to 25lb + , tench to 4lb, roach to 3lb , chub to 4lb , bream to 4lb ide to 3lb perch to 4lb rudd
Lake Rules
Please note the following rules are in operation to protect the fish we all enjoy the benefit of, so please respect them: -
1. Barbless Hooks only
2. No rod to be left unattended at any time
3. No Carp or fish over 4lb to be kept in keepnets and no fish to be held for more than 5 hours
4. All anglers must hold a current fishing licence
5. All keepnets must comply with current Environmental Agency bylaws and regulations
6. No Nuts
7. No Radios
8. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult
9. Fishing from 7. 00am(Summer) 7. 30am(Winter) to time on notice board only
10. It is an offence to remove or introduce fish to the fishery
11. The complex may be dangerous, persons using the fishery do so at their own risk, the management can not accept any risk of injury to yourself or any other parties
12. The management does not accept responsibility for personal injury, damage or loss of property whilst using the fishery
13. No fishing anywhere other than marked pegs
14. No night fishing without prior permission
15. All dogs to be kept on lead
16. No Fires
17. No children under 16 can night fish unless accompanied by an adult unless previously agreed

Good morning. Just like to say a big thank you to everyone that has fished with us this year. It has been a really good year fantastic weather. Some cracking fish the number of 30lbs has been outstanding. Thanks again Lance and Michelle happy fishing.
A good run for Martin with two ghost carp first one at 32lb then the second at 31.10oz from peg 13. Well done 😀Happy fishing.

Me and 2 of my mates have just fished here (3 nights 4 days) mate had 2 other mate had 1 and I blanked � ... absolutely stunning venue don’t let my blank put you of that’s fishing for you .
The owners are very welcoming and attentive 5*

Just got back from 24 hours at newbridge with my 2 nephews and all i can say is it lived up to its fb reviews. Beautiful place, beautiful lakes, stunning fish and a cracking set of owners who have time to talk and are not all about the money unlike some other specimen lakes that i have been to recently. Lads thoroughly enjoyed it on skekling i think it was called, not the match or specimen lake. Great place to teach kids about carp fishing and some heavyweights even in this pond. Cant wait to return and have a go on the main lake. Cant recommend this place enough.
June 2018 - My first visit to Newbridge Lakes. Great place! I could not believe how many large carp I saw on the top on a sunny 48 hour session (Main lake). 3 Carp from 12lbs upto 15lbs and a 36lbs Ghosty so it's safe to say i'll be returning soon. Great owners also!
I would like to say this is an exeptional venue for fishing, A very professional run and maintained lake with great owners who go out of their way to make your stay a pleasureable one, Beautiful condition fish in the specimen lake as are the ones in Hariff and Skeckling. Never want to leave !! We would recommend Newbridge to anyone.
Great venue to fish never messy, well looked after and also great owners! I can't say about the breakfast as I've never had one but next time I'm there I'll definitely be ordering one!
First 24 hours on newbridge,sadly no fish but a cracking lake,looking forward to returning...and the breakfeast was great to thanks michelle.
Did a 24hr couple knocks throw night loads fish toping. Had a run at 9.30 this Morning and lost it on a zigs.Gutted next time I'll have u lol.���

Absolutely loved my stay at new bridge! It was my first ever time night fishing with my mister, his biggest catch was a 22lb mirror carp! Michelle was wonderful, very welcoming & helpful � were hoping to go back for my birthday too!
A spectacular lake stocked with spectacular fish. The breakfasts are outstandingly yummy and I'll be back to fish it more next year, thankyou Michelle for the outstanding service
1st time fishing last night. What a beautiful pond to fish. Very big. 'Very deep' as I found out after 16 hours. Was on peg 5..next time want to be at 7-8 upwards. Had 1 on my 1st visit.
