Al fresco music event...tonight in the yard!

Woweeeeee. Can't believe last night was the first time we'd been. Been promising to go for ages. What a night, absolutely perfect. Everything was top notch, service/ hospitality was amazing, time between courses was exactly right, which I love when it's done right. The food was out of this world......I've got to say it....it was the best 3 courses of food I've ever had. Ackee & Saltfish starter blew me away, what a combination. Onglet Steak was the best ever, really great flavour and cooked perfectly. Everything was absolutely perfect, well done everyone involved with at No7, we'll be back very soon. 10/10.

Went for a meal Saturday night absolutely top class great food lovely attentive staff and the chef is top class thank you for a great night and on top of that not yo expensive either.

We celebrated our little boys Christening at the Rum Rooms and had a fabulous day! Thank you very much to all of the staff for their hard work and the fabulous food. �

One of my fave places in donny.. lovely staff, great atmosphere, beaut drinks and always fab live music laid on! Defo recommend a visit to this place! But be warned...you won't be able to keep away!!�����

No7 at the rum rooms never disappoints for me - we were let down by our booking at a town centre restaurant ( flood) so called in on the off chance that we could get it . We were accommodated immediately although the kitchen was about to close - the food was lovely and the bar always appears welcoming - we didn't go outside as was freezing but usually do . Our favourite in Doncaster .

Just been for a meal here on a Saturday night. Absolutely amazing food, beautifully presented and epic tasting. Was brilliant watching the chefs playing up the food and the care taken over getting it perfect. Highly recommended and will definitely come back

Incredible selection of Rum! Everything from the mellow rums with golden hues, delicately flavoured with vanilla, citrus and coconut, to the more full bodied and robust dark and navy rums, vintage rums, overproof rums and some gorgeous premium aged rums to top it off.

I came here Saturday last with my wife.

Red Stripe on draught was the 1st gift!

We were then led upstairs and looked after by the Rum Rooms team.

Thai prawns, Pigeon Breast & black pudding. Mutton curry. Cheese board, Port. Espresso Martini, and all supported by a fab bottle of Antano Estate Cillian Carmenere Reserve. All over candle light.

Ian was kind enough to meet his guests after his food service had finished - a class touch.

We had a truly fab time & experience, and we thank you all.

Food was excellent. We went mid week so it was very very quiet. Would recommend and will go again.

First time in the place.. bar staff very helpful plenty of choice of drinks. Live music very good. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely loved it. Brilliant atmosphere, tastey rums, and the sun was shining one of the best bars in doncaster. Friendly polite staff in rum rooms and you don't get that in many bars around Doncaster.. �

A massive thank you to the staff working yesterday evening at No.7 At The Rum Rooms for making my best friends 30th Birthday meal so special yesterday evening ! You helped make sure everything was perfect for us and we had a truly wonderful meal and evening I can say how much I appreciated it Xx

We ate here shortly after it opened and were impressed. Unfortunately last night’s experience was a little disappointing. I had a beautiful Mutton Curry starter with Marinated Ox Cheeks for the main. Though the ox cheeks were tender and packed with flavour it was clear that the plating up took way too long as the artistically arranged vegetables were absolutely clap cold... not even lukewarm! I won’t accept 2nd attempt food in a restaurant so I simply ate what was warm. For a dessert I opted for the chocolate truffles. Unfortunately for me the menu made no mention of their being smothered in coconut and assuming it was some kind of candied sprinkle I was left wondering if I should spit or swallow. I had mentioned my disappointment with the main to our waitress and the chef did come out but instead of a simple apology he suggested that I should’ve sent the main back and had nothing to say about the omission of a key ingredient on the dessert menu. I may give it another try but I’m certainly not in a hurry.

From start to finish the whole experience was terrible. Never been to this place before so had no idea that the restaurant was upstairs to start with. Not that it is a problem however there should at least be a sign to say so.

So went upstairs waitress sent us back down cause the table wasn’t ready. It clearly was I just think they were short staffed and behind service.

Got a drink from the very packed bar and waited for our table. Waitress came to find us at 9.00 was booked for 8.30pm

Starter came around 9.30 I had pigeon breast with black pudding very disappointing pigeon well over cooked.

Wild mushroom risotto next. This was served with bread??? And drizzled ( more like poured ) with balsamic oil. You couldn’t taste the mushrooms. Needless to say no dessert was ordered or cheese board �

Will not be returning.

Didn't enjoy it as much as i have done in the past ...long wait at bar no acknowledgement from the bar staff of being there or waiting which I think is rude. No apology for wait . Didn't realise the limited cocktail menu on previous visits. No toilet roll in the ladies toilet and this was very early into the night. Not a great atmosphere either. Disappointing.
