Welcomed with open arms , enjoyed a no pressure drink in the snug , before getting our table , service was exceptional, really friendly laid back attitude the food was as good as our welcome , a simple well executed menu , quality food with a little twist . After finishing dinner we were put in to another snug for coffee in front of the ever burning log fire 🔥. No pressure on time , which made my wife & I feel relaxed & very full . A hidden gem . Lovely meal lovely staff . Thanks for a lovely evening 🍾👍 I never mention food I believe people need to try for themselves , but the scallops were world class . Thanks again

We had a lovely meal here. The chicken was the softest and most moist i have ever had. Only downside was my husband asked for mustard to accompany his beef and it came as he was nearing finishing. Lovely restaurant. I was given a birthday cake but too full to have any so was wrapped up in foil shaped like a swan.to take home. Will definitely be returning. Thankyou.

Totally fabulous in every way. Staff so so friendly, building beautiful and food fantastic. They even brought my husband a birthday cake at the end. Highly recommend.

The food, service and ambience were second to none. We were there for our 30th wedding anniversary and they presented us with a lovely cake which was a great little touch. For our main courses, my husband had the lamb and I had the duck, both of which were cooked to perfection and very well presented. I recommend this restaurant highly.

Simply one of the best places to eat for that special occasion.... Just Devine in every way!

Second year running we have been for a Christmas meal with a large group of friends. We thoroughly enjoyed it last year so we're determined to go back this year. Again it did not disappoint. Food was very good and staff were excellent. Hopefully we will be back next year

Oxo is a beautiful venue for a nice personal or family meal out! Staff very professional and attentive highly recommended, scallops as a starter was superb with salmon as a follow up yummy well presented!

Great food. Lovely surroundings. Very helpful staff. Hope to return soon to enjoy everything again. Only down side no disabled facilities. We overcame the access problems but you could do with a toilet for disabled guests.

Great food and excellent staff everyone is friendly and very helpful would recommend to anyone. We are staying for two nights for our anniversary in the hotel in a garden suite. Lovely private room good facilities and a fabulous breakfast. The hotel staff and restaurant staff are amazing we will definitely come back with family and friends. It’s fabulous for its proximity to the city centre.

Celebrated my birthday and engagement here on Friday, the service of the staff was really friendly and welcoming. Had the most amazing presented food, the lamb and the chicken were cooked to perfection. The Granny Smith pannacota pudding looked too nice to eat. The staff presented me with a lovely birthday card, I was so stuffed to eat so they let me take it home in a cute homemade tin foil swan, nothing was too much trouble, the service was amazing, keep up the good work!!

Celebrated my Fathers 99th birthday with a Sunday lunch. Nothing was too much trouble. Superb food and ambiance. Special thanks to our waiters Ruben, Julian and Rob. Highly recommended. Thank you.

Amazing from moment we booked until moment we walked out door, nice wee touches including the lady who takes your coat and points out toilets to the very friendly and knowledgeable waiting staff, we even got a complimentary birthday cake as visit was between birthdays, and food was fantastic.
