Pelican CC AGM to be held at Pelican Pub, 7PM this Friday 9th November.
Whether you are an existing player or someone who is just looking to find out more information about playing in the 2019 season, please try and make it to the meeting.
The square has been cut, scarified and reseeded in preparation for next year, bring on season 2019
Well it wasn't a victorious end to the season, but I'm immensely proud of everyone who has turned out for Pelican CC this season. We have had plenty of new players this season (Bradford Dave, Foxy, Bond (Josh Bond), Ryan, Disney) who have performed excellently and contributed to a top-half finish in our first season in Division 4.
Thank you to everyone who has made this season a success, supported the team and contributed to the running of the club. We are in the best posi...tion we have been in for many years and it's only thanks to the hard work of people who give their time to the team. Special thanks to Andy Tyson and Mike Potts for there work on the ground and Jan Hornby for providing the facilities, Jonny Chapman for organising the team and Carl 'CHOP SAUCE' Barker for the teas (oh and Geoff for the excellent scoring).
There will be an AGM and social nights arranged soon.

Josh Hairsine Will Compston and I were heartbroken that you didn't reach your 50, but it was a top effort and you should be really proud of that innings.
A great effort from three of our own, Phil Dawson, James Smedley and Jonny Chapman to be in the top five performances in our division for this previous week.
Only two fixtures left - victory in either will guarantee us a top four finish, which is an excellent effort in our debut season in Division 4.
2nd placed Gilberdyke away this week followed by our rearranged fixture against Brandesburton to end our season.
