Well situated for all the sights of York. Friendly welcoming staff and comfortable clean rooms. Breakfast was yummy and everything was piping hot. Must say the beds are so so comfy definitely need to get one of those mattresses far better than my own !!! Would recommend the hotel to anyone

Great location. Great value room. Great service (check-in & restaurant). Good food & drink. Breakfast busy at peak time (bit of a queue). Small Premier Inn car park, close by (adjoined to the “other” Premier Inn?) but also discounted rate at the nearby NCP. The “meal deal” was good value. Will certainly return👍

Fantastic hotel. We were staying there for the Yorkshire Marathon and they went out of their way to make everything as easy as possible for us including putting on an early breakfast, offering showers after the event and giving out free sports drinks. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

We have had our mini break booked for a good number of months with our two special needs mini's and this hotel caters wonderfully well for them also.



Carol who works reception is amazing and always makes sure that any request we asked for is sorted ASAP (interconnecting rooms being the main one).



Could not fault the hotel, staff or service we received which made for a wonderful mini break and we are already planning for our next one once Jorvik reopens to the public!!

Absolutely love staying in this hotel I've stayed her multiple times for work the staff are fantastic especially the breakfast server she's a credit to the team she remembers that I like to sit alone and that i like a large glass for my smoothie lol and the waiting staff on Thursday night 9th where great and the food absolutely delicious the whole team in blossom St north and south are a credit to the premier inn brand and I can't rate them highly enough!! Rooms had just been refurbished to a good standard. Although our of the 2 rooms I went into both hdmi slots were broken so couldn't plug in me laptop. My room was in between 2 sets of stairs which just kept me awake the whole night with people walking down them. Also, sounded like a 3 year old toddler weighing 20 stone wasn't upstairs. So noise reduction methods should be looked at. However, breakfast was spot on, the staff were lovely and accommodating, the evening meal even better, and it's probably the most powerful shower I've ever encountered in a hotel. Superb apart from the loud steps on ground floor (room 2012)

Lovely room for the price and we couldn't fault it because we got there at 11 o'clock and got checked in. The room we were in could do with a new chair because the one at the moment is a bit rocky.

Lovely hotel well situated in York for me and my bestie to do some shopping.The first room we were given over looked the kitchen fans and was very noisy but my friend went back down to reception and we were moved, I think a telephone in the rooms would be a bonus so as not to trail back and forwards to reception when there is any problems...

Lovely clean rooms and staff friendly, polite and helpful. Wasn't so Kean on the room we we're given as it was right beside the pub beer garden and it was quite noisy when they had a beer delivery also paid for breakfast and the que was ridiculous, so asked for a refund,which we were given no problem.... But the place is great for being within walking distance of the centre.

It's one of the better Premier Inn's, 5-10 minute walk from train station. Only thing I would say, is if your going to stay on a Saturday night, make sure you book well in advance.

Had a lovely stay. People and staff fabulous food lovely and room clean and very relaxing will be going to Liverpool in may. Premier inn here we come

Lovely nights sleep 😴 clean room so can't complain there but rang reception 4 times before we left our car in car park to check some details and nobody answered and this is at 9pm! Arrived at reception to wait ten minutes for assistance and when it did arrive the poor girl looked rushed off her feet, good customer services skills though 👌🏼Wasn't impressed with my wait in the queue for breakfast when I had already paid full the night before and there was only 4 of us in the queue, need more staff or management need to have a word with staff for dragging their heels while there's other customers waiting , apart from that nice hotel 😊

Had a great night sleep staff friendly however my other half had a accident due to condition which stained the bed and we came back after 2pm to see bed made but the dirty sheet wasn't replaced and the walls have dirt marks but overall its OK but preferred the upstairs room on lvl 2 than ground floor

I would give 5 stars for the rooms and the staff however I was very unimpressed when I went down to breakfast and took some mushrooms from the buffet only to find they are cooked in butter. I am vegan so was shocked to find there was no label or anything to advise this. I also know there were lactose intolerant people in the restaurant who could of had a horrible reaction by taking what people would not necessarily have butter in them. I realise people should ask but it would have helped if there had been clear labeling. It really upset my breakfast as I was limited as to what I could eat in the first place.
