Back into the big bands.
You saw them at Party In The Pines Festival, You've seen them on Creation's label and you've probably seen them in Donny. Local (ish) heavyweight, John Mcullagh, and his band the escorts are here to unleash their sound on the attentitive ears of Scunthorpe.
... Supported by none other than that grimsby lot Scarlett & Saffron and those scunny newcomers you keep hearing so much about The Skintillas this is shaping up to be a melting pot of pre-christmas Local delights.
So, forget about pretending to love one another with useless gifts because jesus told you to, and get your dancing shoes on to one of Acid Peacock Promotions indie belters.
Free entry as ever, and in the venue we all love, proven to weather any storm.
27/11/15.. Be seeing you.

No tricks, all treats.
Halloween at the abacus looks like this, The Assist, the next big thing from Birmingham. Darlings of XFM and BBC introducing, festival heroes at party in the pines and high profile supports to the Enemy, The 1975 and tour dates with The Happy Mondays. They come to infect us with their insanely catchy guitar riffs and anthemic sing along chorus'
... Support coming from the retrospectives. A Sheffield based indie pop band with a bright future ahead of them.
As always, free entry and house drinks promotions. Place to be on a Friday.
