We come to Richard Dunns every Saturday wiv my bf and Autistic Son we love it the water is cold sometimes but wen it is as warm as it as bin outside the water is nice cold. Also i can't dis the staff they are more than helpful and understanding of my sons Autism altho i was pissed off yesterday wen i went to the cafe for food that stated it closed at 4.30 only to b told by the women that she had stopped serving and it was'nt even 4 let alone 4.30.

User

I use the car boot l, which I sell at regularly. Good price for the pitch and good starting/closing times. It's always a decent turn out I always sell a fair few bits however think it could benefit by being advertised a bit more as there was few people at times. The car park coming in was very bumpy and it can be quite dusty at times. Will still come back to use this service!

I have used the indoor swimming pool before and have had no problems there, me and my mum attended the aqua for lessons which were very engaging and fun! Only thing I would say is There is limited evening classes on which I would like to attend after work.

User

Went hear on Saturday with my family including my disabled child and the staff was more then helpful by offering us a special room to get changed etc , only went a few days later with another disabled child of mine to be told no I can't have a special room and the tone in her voice was that we was been ridiculous to even ask but after complaining to the manager the manager who was more then apologetic and was assured next time we come this will not happen and we will get a special room

User

This pool needs a major overhaul it is showing its age now and I am surprised it's not undergoing one with the prices they charge. It is in a prime location and my grandsons love it but please spend some money on the pool it needs it desperately.

User

The slides were great, but it was a bit grubby, also if you have a smaller child who cant carry tge ring to the top of the slide and have to carry theirs for them aswell as your own, it will leave you dead!!! Rings really do need to be looked at, find lighter ones, this put me of using the slides even tho my little one forced and i ended feeling dizzy, the pools them self are quite boring, slides are great, will come back just to use the slides

User

Mucky! Rubbish facilities! My sister and i used to play squash and badminton here but stopped because it was freezing we couldn't feel our fingers! Today we tried the swimming baths. Its filthy! Only 3 out of the 6 showers worked properly and we had to wait ages for one to become free. Then we had to wait for a cubicle (tiny cubicle) not big enough to get ready in! Then only one hair dryer worked so we had to wait for that to become free and the wire was so short you couldn't use the mirror at the same time. We wont be going again!

User

Is this the coldest swimming pool in the world. I had to get out as my little boy was shaking and turning blue. We then had to get changed in the coldest changing rooms I have ever been in. I might as well have been outside. The changing rooms were filthy as was the pool area. A big group of young lads were jumping on people and blocking the steps to the hippo pool and no lifeguard said a word. The only reason I have given the pool 2 stars is because my older boys liked the slides.

User

I attended a snooker event last night and to say disorganised really doesnt say enough. There was no signage as to how to get in to the event. A taxi driver parked across the parking entrance waving us to go past and on to main entrance. Then a staff member sent us round the back (where we had just come from) a rubbish start. (although had it been raining it could have been worse). Now round the back of the building, not the most welcoming and still no signage as to entrance but ah haha groups of smokers gathered maybe if this is the way OUT it could also be the way IN. Fighting through clouds of 2nd hand smoke we went it. No directions to seating areas that matched the ticket info. We aked a member of staff who pointed us back out and to ask a suited lady who would direct us more accurately. She was busy with another member of the public;we waited. She did direct us but in a manner i can only descibe as lack lustre. Im sorry if she'd been asked the same question many times, due to a lack of signage maybe? Neither the signs she said we should follow nor the upstairs members of staff were there. Eventually we did find someone who kindly pointed us corrrectly to our seats, relief! Time for a loo trip before the main event; already one of the toilets was out of order most inconvenient on a 'sold out' event. I wasn't worried about having to visit again as at £2 for a can of cola I would n't be having many. I don't know the other venues this event has been to but I cannot imagine this one would be top of their list. An uninspiring building in serious need of an upgrade and soon!

User

went to an event yesterday. sign saying on door use back door. even tho I've visited before didn't know where back door was. i ask this staff member not nice attitude with me. richard dunnes is a concrete carbuncle needs bulldozing past its sell by date. dirty filthy. no cofee shop or anywhere you could get anything to eat. place was freezing . glad i was with someone. when event finished it was really really really dark at back and not well lit. 4 guys sat in a car really nerving no security anywhere. couldnt really see where we were going. ordered a cab when cab came no where to park pull in. horrible place

User

Wouldn't come back here the whole building is showing signs of its age, the pool is just a disaster and wasn't happy with a big group of males intimidating lady swimmers. Tried it to give it ago but will always go to brighouse fitness centre, it's clean, new and u don't have to queue a mile long to pay. Never go to Richard dunns again.

User

Very cold my 2 year old lasted 40 mins her lips were purple, water is freezing surely should be heated for babies and toddlers. Other mums were getting out too won't be going there again

User

Thought I would try further than home and head to Richard Dunn, my honest opinion! The place needs closing down and completely modernising. The water in the pool was chilly, the changing rooms were quite dirty looking with literally just a few showers working properly and the food in the cafe tasted disgusting and I couldn't wait to get out of the place. I have no intention of re-visiting unless the place gets a much needed re-vamp, will stick to my local pools from now on

User

No family changing so I had to put my 9 month old on the floor of my cubicle so I could change! Only tables for changing are out in the open on opposite wall?! cant very well leave your baby there while you change...water cold baby lasted 10 mins (other mums saying same aswell), changing room cold too. Saw a man reporting his phone stolen nobody cared nor seemed interested then to top it off my daughters shoes were stolen from her cubicle and they didn't care about that either good job we could carry her to the car and didn't travel by bus eh!! Never again

User

My little lad does swimming lessons here the changing rooms are a disgrace stink of urine and the toilets don't get flushed leaving poo in the toilets! Clearly don't get checked regularly or cleaned properly!! Seriously needs sorting! Gone down hill and needs serious revamp public who need to clean up after themsleves + cleaners regularly for the changing rooms

User

I would love to say me and my children had a great time here, but unfortunately i arrived here with my 6 and 7 year old as they are finally tall enough to slide, (as you can imagine very exited as they have watched there older siblings slide and have all the fun) after a hours bus ride to get here we were told that it was full capacity and was not allowed in!!! You can only imagine my return journey home!! I no this can happen but surely you could put a notice on your website stating that your very busy and to phone first to avoid further upset to children especially when people travel some distance to visit

User

Don't lock your bike up here because it will get stolen

I locked my bike to come back and fine that the lock had been broken into, its a good job I had 2 locks on that day

The staff dont even have to decency to let me put my bike in the office for a couple of hours while I go to the gym

They expect people to magic money out of thin air to buy another lock

It got broke in your facility so the least you could do is keep my bike for a couple of hours until I can afford a new lock

Then only one hair dryer worked so we had to wait for that to become free and the wire was so short you couldn't use the mirror at the same time. We wont be going again!

Very cold my 2 year old lasted 40 mins her lips were purple, water is freezing surely should be heated for babies and toddlers. Other mums were getting out too won't be going there again

Never again
