came in for a meal with family & the food was just absolutely stunning! Staff are so lovely & friendly, would definitely recommend coming here again & to anyone else looking for a place to have a bite. Most wonderful place I've ever been!

We've eaten here many times on lunchtime. But this was our first visit on an evening, it certainly won't be our last!

We had a fabulous meal, well and truly stuffed once we had finished our meal. The staff were friendly and attentive.

We visited whilst we were on a short break in the area, following a trip advisor recommendation we decided on the Rossini and Damsel. Not disappointed it was really great food, well cooked and tasty. Good choice of menu and drinks at a good price. Really friendly and helpful staff, definitely a place I would recommend.

Really nice food and very good service, had walked with the dog from Kiplingcoates on the Hudson way, and we were pleased to be able to sit outside with the dog. We shall be returning very soon.

Not my first visit to R and D and won’t be my last. The menu is fab. Something for everyone. Always great service and a wonderful atmosphere. A very friendly and sociable place whether you fancy drinks, dinner or just a cuppa and cake. Love the outdoor area. Would highly recommend.

I love coming here. I've been 4 times now and i am never disappointed. I love the atmosphere and the staff are lovely very welcoming and friendly . I highly recommend this to friends and family. It's on my doorstep too so i can walk there and be able to have a drink not be the designated driver.

Really enjoyed our latest visit, again good food and service, but on both occasions the room temperature is a little cold.

The food was ok like most Italian restaurants but nothing different. The service was prompt. The atmosphere lively. The food filled a hole.

But, the 4 of us had a good time!

Went in with a friend on Wednesday 26th for coffee and sandwich, when food was delivered due to my friend not saying she wanted brown bread and waitress not asking she was given white, but waitress took it back and changed to brown, thought that was it, but then I cut into my panini and realised that it was not what I ordered, should have been baby mozzarella, I think, tomato and pesto, what I got was chicken, bacon and cheese, when I told the waitress she said that that was what the waitress had written, I said it's not what I had ordered, then she said that they don't usually make mistakes!!!! Then she said she would take it back and change it if I wanted to wait.......which she did, but I think it had only had the chicken etc scraped off and cheese tomato and pesto replaces, very damp and unappetising, I used to be a waitress in a bigger establishment than this and if someone said it was wrong I would have apologised and taken it away to put it right, but nothing in this situation, no apology at all, not even the offer of another coffee or even a glass of water, by way of an apology, it should have been dealt with immediately not discussed, giving the impression that she was trying to persuade me to have what I had been given. I do not recommend this place to anyone
