Oh my gawd talk about surprised fantastic venue brilliant atmosphere fantastic music but the surprise...we got food !!! jerk chicken burger £5 and beer monster burger for me £6 expecting just a burger on its tod in a cardboard box for that price not a excellent meal wow I highly recommend this place great atmosphere great beer and fantastic food my only criticism... you guys ain't charging enough for the food you provide �

Been here a few times, the staff are warm and welcoming, a vast range of sprits especially if you love Rum, you can tell the food is made with love, it was delicious, keep up the good work guys.

Been a few times now and seems to be a new selection of drinks to try each time. We all had the food this time too and was absolutely awesome! Best thing on top of all this is the staff! Knowledgeable and friendly. They make everyone feel like part of the rum shack family. James goes above and beyond for us every time we go. Thanks everyone! Xx

Great atmosphere, very friendly & helpful staff. Amazing cocktails and a jerk chicken burger to keep us going. Nice clientele. Only slight criticism was the music, I think it would have added to the ambience to have nice reggae music in the background but that's my preference. Will visit again, a great addition to the diverse North Parade bars.

First visit with a few friends who had been before.. Cocktails were great.... 2 for £10 and tasted delicious. Quiet as we were early doors but staff friendly. Good variety of drinks on blackboard and specials to choose from.

Lovely place but I do think the music needs to be a bit more R&B mixed in with the rest x

The portion was tiny.. We were so hungry after the curry and jerk chicken we had to eat elsewhere. Portion was like starter. Maybe good for drinks but not food unfortunately. A real let down..
