Busy day making a new bird table with our volunteers

To show my respect to all those that lost their lives in the First World War I decided to make the following Poppy display at the Mill Piece Conisbrough. It is made from plastic bottles building on a craft workshop we did at Sandall Beat wood. In total I managed 235 and it took weeks of effort but I am very pleased with the results.

Good morning! We are full to burst at our Halloween event, but you can still come and make a dream catcher with us at Warren House Park (Funded by the Land Trust)

Halloween crafts and a treat at Sandall Beat Wood. Places must be booked in advance through this face book page and cost £2.50 per person. If you bring your own pumpkin we can also help you carve it with our tools and stencils. This craft session includes the use of glue and food colouring so sensible clothing is a must.

We’ve had a great evening making Bug Hotels and bird feeders with Hatfield Cub group

Please be aware of symptoms of Seasonal Canine Illness. It can affect any dog walked in any woodland area.

We provide children’s parties with a difference! Campfire cooking, shelter building, fairy houses, games from around the World. Includes exclusive use of our sensory garden and fire pit area! (Campfire cooking incurres a £1 per child fee on top of the price)

Join our Rangers on a magical walk in the woods. We will collect treasure, do fun activities along the way and make a journey stick to take home to remind you of your adventure. £2.50 per child. Aimed at KS1 age children. Booking is essential.

Come along to the woods and learn how to use a compass and a map to follow the orienteering course around the wood. £2.50 per family. Booking essential as limited places. Thanks!

What a wonderful morning enjoying the outdoors in a lovely clean and litter free wood. The kids enjoyed the play area too. Great place to visit

We always have a lovely time when we come here either with the dog or not, and my little boy loves the woods and the play area, and likes to go on a bear hunt through the woods to, definitely come again in the future and definitely recommend has their is toilets and usually a ice-cream van for refreshments!!!!

My little girl Phoenix loved making a Fairy House at Sandall Beat woods today! ��

We even made a Jacuzzi outside in the garden! ��������

Followed by an ice cream & a long walk in the woods ������ xxx

Go regular. Lovely location. Great for kids. Would deffinatly recommend. X

Get your kids down to the fun workshops this summer hols. It won't break the bank and it gets you outdoors! Plus the leaders are brilliant.

Fantastic woodland walks and brilliant play area in the middle, biggest fort/tower I've ever seen in a playground! Clean facilities and free car park, what more could you ask for!

Fantastic place for the boys lots of fun.. great for all the family including the dogs..

Fab! Gorgeous wood which I played in when I was younger. N great activities they do for children could just do with a tearoom x

Excellent for walking your dog 🐶 or taking the kids , could do with some facilities at least cold water tap for dogs etc

Didn't go to an activity but enjoyed walking around the sensory garden then children enjoyed playing in the park.

An amazing place......perfick for bored n fed up kids and exhausted moms 😊

Absolutely loved our visit today kids was in there element learnt all different things on our family event loved the activities they had set and making a den by the log fire and eating scrumy food staff was lovely and main of all Leon who made us all feel comfortable and let us all take part and supported us all day , we'd definitely come back and we'd recommend to families it's a brilliant day out made so many memories thankyou

A beautiful peaceful place that I've visited since being a child. I will never tire of loving it. Keep up the good work it's amazing what you do ��

Plenty to do with kids,be brilliant if they had a little hut for drinks and snacks.

Great place for the kids, the activities they do are great and well organised. I'm hoping the play area in the middle gets a revamp in time for the summer tho, it's ready for it....come on Donni council 😊😊

A really great place remembered it from my childhood the only downside is people who have fires in it leave all their rubbish behind.
