At 3pm on Sunday 7th July our church welcomed our new vicar The Reverend Lucy Wormsley. It was a lovely service, enjoyed by all .... as was the buffet afterwards!! Thanks to everyone for their hard work to make the day such a success and welcome to Lucy & Jonathan.
Preparations are well on their way for us to welcome our new vicar Rev Lucy Wormsley on Sunday. All welcome and it would be lovely to see some new faces but please let me know if you are coming for our catering numbers x thank you x
Little Footprint Family: A new Facebook group for parents and families who were cared for in the Little Footprint room at Calderdale Royal Hospital, when their baby died during pregnancy or shortly after birth. This is a safe place to talk about your precious babies, to share memories and experiences and to provide comfort and support to each other. Feel free to share any relevant information within the group and support each other during the difficult journey after baby loss... The page is managed by Bereavement Midwife Sarah Hall and I will use the page as a place to share with you news about future events, local support services and developments within the maternity bereavement service in Huddersfield and Halifax. For any urgent advice please contact the Bereavement phone, LDRP or the Maternity Assessment Centre (MAC) at Calderdale Royal Hospital, as the page is not manned 24 hours a day

We will be sounding our church bell 7 times before 7pm tonight as a mark of solidarity for Notre Dame 🙏🏻
Busy weekend for Margaret in church this weekend with Danielle & James' wedding blessing yesterday and Charlie's christening this morning.
