We have sadly been informed by a family member that one of our loveliest customers has passed in an untimely death. We wish our sincerest condolences to Dave Neal's family and hold them close to our hearts at this sad time.

only a small place but not small portions of food the plate was full and it was fantastic food i would recommend to anyone talk about value for money second to none i will be going back there for sure

We're some Canadian tourists that ended up just passing through Cleethorpes, and came across this place. Outstanding food, great service, and has a nice atmosphere. I can't say enough about this place. We were very happy with our meal there. Highly recommend to anyone.

We always visit Steels when in Cleethorpes and we are never let down, fabulous food, friendly staff and always worth the wait if there is a queue

Visited today after recommendations from many friends and family and we were not disappointed! We’re a family of 2 adults & 2 young children and we were all well catered for and welcomed. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, and made suggestions to our order to get best value. The food was delicious and arrived in good time. We’ll be passing on our recommendations to friends and family accordingly!!!

Top class service for restaurant small fish is like large never had a problem here always happy to acommadate you but they do get busy would advise at least booking

The service was fantastic and all of the food served was excellent from start to finish.

Good sized portions as well.

The is Steel's doing their twist on afternoon tea and it works really well.

At £17.95 for two people, it represents superb value for money.

Be sure to book as I'm certain it will be packed when people realise just how good this is - we shall return !!

The restaurant is still as good as ever would not go any where else so tasty and the staff are so friendly it was very busy when our whole family went 6 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 young children and the staff still had time to talk to the young children you are made to feel so welcome

The best place to go for fish n chips, food is always good, staff very friendly and helpful, love that it hasn’t changed over the years, still as I remember it as s kid. If you plan on going book a table so not waiting in queue to get in

The best & the biggiest fish & chips I've ever had was so beaut so nice and lovely and jumbo size they deffo Was!! Got bread and butter wity every meal too was deffo worth the money, friendly staff too ����

Probably the best fish and chips I've ever had ,went to Whitby everybody said the fish and chip shop there was the best me and the wife hated it really greasy, for us steels everytime

Loved the fish and chips yesterday some of the nicest I've had in a long long time. Will definitely be going back for a revisit staff very friendly and welcoming if your in the area do yourself a favour and pop in you won't be disappointed.

It’s been at least 20 years since we last went to Steels due to moving away,it was always a favourite of ours and I have to say it definitely hasn’t lost its touch,in fact if anything it has improved and I wouldn’t have thought that was possible...our meal was simply delicious,the service was excellent..we won’t leave it as long before we visit again and will definitely recommend to our friends and family xx

I had the steak pie and vegetables it was lovely piping hot and for desert I had banana split that took me back to my childhood the staff are friendly we had a lovely waitress would recommend x

I always eat at Steels, For great service and fantastic food. I know people who live in Derbyshire who come to Cleethorpes just to eat at Steels..

Had the mixed grill instead of the battered fish for a change and omg the steak was delicious and cooked to perfection! That will make it harder to choose off the menu next time we go .. Fish or steak mmm

Had the afternoon tea platter today and it was lovely, lots of choice and plenty for two. It was also presented nicely, and well worth the price. We will definitely return if this stays on the menu. Sarah, our server, was friendly and really lovely - thank you.

Service is great, quality is great. All round friendly atmosphere and great prices.

First time eating here and it was amazing. Alot better than i thought it would be. Visited with friends, had fish and chips the size was a decent size. Couldnt finish it all, staff were really friendly too. If i ever visit Grimsby again this will be somewhere id go again �
