Just had our tea with the three boys was delish the staff are always kind friendly and welcoming... Must say tho always find the food to be better when it's busy or when it's breakfast in the morning. Julie who works on the bar always seems like such a lovely lady..

If we have ever on a problem the staff always make it right x

User

Had a brilliant breakfast ’┐Į as always good service, think some people think when trays run empty they should be filled within seconds the staff are very polite and fill as soon as I've never had to wait long so no complaints on our side, thanks to the staff your doing a great job ’┐Į

User

We went for a family meal yesterday lunchtime. Two of us had carvery, the cauliflower was too hard but the roasts were slightly better than normal. One had pizza and said that was good and one had gammon/egg and enjoyed his. Overall service was good and the new carpet is so much better.

User

Great , had family from Doncaster and they always like to go there , always filling cauliflower bit hard but rest was lovely , the young man running around is always polite and great customer service, will be back , value for money , xx

User

Service very poor had breakfast had to wait for milk clear the table myself waited 4 minutes for eggs then when they came it was fried eggs more like a boiled egg yolk hard as hell put the toast thorough once not done enough put it through again cremated very poor standards and even I can cook a fried egg properly have a word with the cook

User

Normally have a good experience however tonight when I went I ordered a pudding and the bowel it came in smelt like wet dog! I complained and they gave me and my friend a new pudding but ran out of ice cream so it was a plain slice of chocolate cake. Women was helpful but second bowel smelt as well. Was told it was the chocolate cake however the spoon smelt ok.

User

Its way way too hot in there tonight waited way to long for our meal. I had to move coz i felt faint it was so hot and couldnt eat my meal when it arrived. Left feelin disapionted

User

Well...1st time and certainly the last. We booked over the phone for a reservation at 1.30pm. The lady taking the call kept messing up the numbers (3 adults, 2 children...not that difficult!). Anyhoo...upon arrival we were told we should have been there at 11.30am. Nope...1.30pm mate. Managed to seat us n we chose our meals. 2 having the fish n chips n 1 carvery. Little ones had pizza. Firstly...fish n chips. Fish wasnt 2 bad but the chips were very undercooked. Still hard in the middle. Not nice at all.

Next...carvery. meat lovely....rest wouldnt have fed to the dog. Mash potato had a wierd grainy dryness...very much akin to packet mash ’┐Į. Awful. Yorkshire puds....would have sworn the lovely aunt bessie had previously made these off site. No taste to them except that clinical fakeness you get from 2 min yorkies for the oven ’┐Į. The roasters were huge...not done properly in the middle...scorched on the outside (maybe consider halving/quartering them prior to cooking?...assuming they arent frozen when lobbed in an oven!). The gravy had a bitter burntness to it n the veg was just veg. Some mushy some slightly crunchy. Couldnt really tell of taste due to the over powering gravy.

Pizza...here you are saved as the young ones ate majority of it but thats kids for you.

Maybe we went on an off day....i dunno....but wont risk trying again. Not for us. Sorry.

User

Would rather gets aids than sit looking at the half inbred staff again for an hour waiting for a plain burger, two of them even said it wasnŌĆÖt possible to chase my order, only 3 other people in the restaurant as well the shower of lazy cunts
