Andy Pearson and Chris Milnes continue their voluntary flying careers with the Spirit of Goole, providing invaluable Air Experience flying to air-minded youth (where sadly due to unforseen circumstances beyond our control, 642 were no longer able).

The staff of 642 Volunteer Gliding Squadron, extend their heartfelt gratitude to their outgoing and final commanding officer, Sqn Ldr Simon Johnston, for tirelessly channelling 10 years of his life into leading and shaping an amazing team, into one of the most successful volunteer units in the entire Air Cadet Organisation.

Today 642 met for the last time. Today 642 cleared out their HQ, and curiously, today received their 642nd facebook 'like'. We don't believe in fate, but we do believe in friendship, fun and flying (coming soon as the 642 Association).
