Wonderful and friendly proper pub. Friendly staff and welcoming locals. Decent real ales, good music on the Jukebox (rock) and a real coal fire to chill your bones on a cold day.

User

Went to the Corn Dolly as a travelling Sheff Utd fan. A proper old style pub. Good location for the match (10 min walk). Good atmosphere. Friendly locals. Does get very busy. Will definitely go there next time we visit.

User

Well I started coming here around a year ago and only just discovered it had a facebook page so I do apologise for the late review. Fantastic pub, the staff are so nice and its a great place to relax after work. Has a proper warm feeling to it, best place in town! :)

User

We are a group of ex Sappers that have been going to this pub for some years for anything from watching international rugby tournaments to post Remembrance Sunday parade or just on a whim. We return because the other customers accept us, the staff are like the beer excellent and we are well looked after. What more could you ask for and we couldn't recommend it more highly than this.

User

Was in here last Friday great pub relaxed atmosphere not too far from city centre, biggest regret was not trying out some of the real ales judging by the reviews played it too safe with the Guinness ah well always next time (y) :D

User

Warm fire, warm welcome, superb beer, even won a game of pool.

Top pub.

User

The most consistent pub when it comes serving beers I like (selfish), the quality and conditioning of the beer! Excellent jukebox which even has a respectable classical selection (the customers will lynch me one day).... Love the place, comfortable and with a host of characters! Yorkshire folk at their most miserable and loving it, as indeed I do! None of this "have a nice day" false enthusiasm nonsense, you get what you're given, 8 sticks of beer served by a mixture of psychotics (I fit in so well) who'll take your money quicker than a Vegas dealer, but deliver to you an excellent creamy pint (auto-vacs) with a head that clings to the glass like a Time Share Salesman to an unsuspecting virgin tourist!

Oh! Did I mention the Pool table....well I just did!

Lovley pub, lovley people ........................

User

I’ve always loved the Dolly great beers usually but nobody can like them all. Always great staff and atmosphere

I will live out the rest of my days and never experience a pub as nice as the Corn Dolly again.

Picture the scene: couple pals, couple drinks, couple tunes. Now imagine that exact scenario, except you've just won £10,000 off a scratch card, you're on an IV drip of ecstasy, and the corpse of Patrick Swayze just reanimated in front of your eyes and gave you a single cheeky-but-tasteful wink. That's what it feels like to drink in the Corn Dolly.

The atmosphere is electric. The bar staff are dimes. The drinks are liquid gold. It's a Bradford institution. Scratch that – it's a BRITISH institution. Thousands of years from now, when the world has wilted and all that remains are ash and embers, one sign will still stand tall. It reads: "Welcome to The Corn Dolly: voted best pub in Bradford, 2014."

The Corn Dolly is the light of my life. The Corn Dolly is the fire of my loins. It's my sin. It's my soul.

Five stars.

Fantastic traditional pub in Bradford, literally just a few minutes walk away from the Broadway. Great selection of beers, friendly and warm atmosphere.

User

Fantastic selection of beers in great condition.

Superb service and despite supporting Bradford’s opposition today, we were greeted with a warm welcome. Thanks and see you next season!
