Went there with my partner for a lovely afternoon tea. I'm from Germany and currently on a holiday here. Well, what can I say - I never felt more British than in your pretty Caf├®, surrounded by tea, coffee and stunningly arranged food. It tasted delicious and we will definitely come back, when I visit the UK next time :)

Visited today for the St Ledger afternoon tea. The welcome was very friendly and we were seated at our table straight away even though we were 20 mins early. The afternoon tea was gorgeous with a great selection of sandwiches and beautiful sweet treats, plenty of hot tea and preceeded with a nice cold glass of cava. Overall a lovely way to spend an afternoon. A* ’┐Į

Took my nana here today, our first time and certainly will be coming again. I took my little boy in the pram. A member of staff kindly helped me carry the pram in due to steps. All staff were polite, attentive and very helpful and even playful with my son. The food was delicious and the choice of cakes was amazing. Highly Reccomend x

Popped in with hubby and my youngest (3yo) daughter for an impromptu lunch. We plumped for the 2 for 1 afternoon tea, and our daughter had a children's meal. The tea was beautiful, with a glass of cava and plenty of hot drinks; the sandwiches and cakes were more than enough for two. My little girl thoroughly enjoyed her chicken goujons, homemade chips and beans. A far superior meal to many children's menus available!

Plenty of fresh sandwiches. Scones and cream delightful. Excellent value for money in comparison to a certain place in York. Excellent ambiance only one slight let down but more to personal preference. The finger cakes were ok but not to our high expectations. The choice and amount of sandwiches did exceed expectations though. Would go again and definitely one of the best afternoon teas experiencened for the money. Love your hot chocolate with cream and strawberries dipped in chocolate.

Lovely afternoon, very accommodating staff & very pleasant. My mum has a fish allergy & they were more than happy to change the filling on sandwiches due to this

I went here today with two friends and my 11 week old baby, they were more then accommodating, lovely food and cake! Highly recommend ’┐Į!!

I thought the whole thing was lovely the massage was very relaxing the afternoon tea was most enjoyable it was a really lovely experience thank you to my lovely daughter for my Xmas treat

I regularly come here for lunch and I love it. The gluten free menu is fab, the place itself is really stylish and the staff are lovely. Thumbs up!

Good service and afternoon tea was really nice also at a reasonable price. The setting itself was really nice with a good lay out. Not as crowded as other places so didn't feel rushed in and out

Celebrated my 40th with my mum and sister-in-law here! The afternoon tea was beautiful. The atmosphere was so welcoming, yet relaxed! There was no rush, and we lingered with our food so we could enjoy to the max! The best thing is that they give you a box at the end to take any leftovers home with you! Fabulous service. Great atmospheres! Gorgeous food! ­¤æī

Yes it was lovey. Their where three of us,

The plater for two had 2 scones and so did the plater for one.

In fact the plater for one had more choice on it.

And from start to finish it was 2 hours we had to ask for are coffeeŌĆÖs,

It was like they had forgotten about us.

Which was a shame because me and my sister had planned having a few more drinks in town with our mum.
