Beautiful night at The Greek

What a truly fantastic restaurant... I am a big lover of Greece and entering this restaurant had such a level of authenticity I forgot I was in the UK! The staff were exceptional and I can’t find the words to compliment how brilliant the food is! I highly recommend The Greek as it deserves to well due to how great it is! I call on anyone to support local business and ensure this little gem is a success and remains a step into the continent! Well done guys! ���

Went on Thursday with my family for my birthday. The food was lovely and the chicken Slovakia was gorgeous, it reminded me of being in Greece again. Staff was very efficient and friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and we will be back. Thankyou for an enjoyable birthday meal. 🎂

Went for an early meal on Wednesday evening. Service great, food amazing. My wife and I shared five dishes and a couple of bottles of Mythos each. The food is very reasonably priced and delicious. Can't wait to go back. A little taste of Greece in Hull!

We went last night for a family meal and wow! Everyone in the party enjoyed their food. They had a special of red snapper which was a trial to see if it could be added to the menu. It was £4.50 and was very well recieved. I had lamb chops and they were amazing. The menu is hand written as what they serve appears to depend on what is available. Love it. At just over £100 for six of us - including drinks - its a place not to be missed. Cant wait to go back!

We enjoyed a gorgeous lunch here today. We picked lots of things off the menu to share(after a bit of helpful advice from the staff)and we thought everything we ordered was delicious. I really enjoyed the Greek iced coffee after my meal as well! The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed and the staff were all friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going again.

We booked for Monday teatime, very pleasant staff, a lovely atmosphere, the restaurant is small, very " Greek".. Lovely. The selection of meals, reminds me of our many trips to small islands.... What is on the menu is what's available that day... All food was well cooked and served quickly. Only criticism no Greek beer... Never mind.. Enjoyed every month full.. We shall definitely be back...

Visited for the first time tonight with friends. Lovely little place and the food is fantastic, really tasty food and not expensive either.

We ordered a few different food items and all shared them, really enjoyed them all.

Will definitely go back again.

Highly recommend- definitely worth a visit

The food is amazing. Coming from a Greek family and visiting Corfu many times. This is exactly how we expect Greek food. I visited the restaurant with my parents and sister and we all agreed it was authentic tasty food.

The Greek is a gem. For our first-time visit we went a bit mad for lunch and ordered six dishes (which arrive tapas-style but bigger than tapas portions), olive bread, a couple of coffees, mineral waters and a cheeky Ouzo - all for £34. The vibe is really relaxed and friendly - with a beautiful back-drop mural of the Greek island of Monemvasia on the wall. Now we want to go back to Greece itself �

Thank you so much for a beautiful meal for our 10th Wedding Anniversary. The food was amazing, service likewise and the staff and owner took the time to congratulate us and gave us our first drink on the house. Thanks again, we will see you again soon. Rich & Helen White. Xx

Literally the best Greek restaurant in Hull. Everything from the decor, staff and menu is amazing, so delicious and worth every penny! Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning �

Just visited for a birthday meal and loved it. Prebooked which I’d recommend as it’s busy ( this was a Thursday mid July) the place was packed which is s good sign.



A group of 5 we ordered a variety of drinks and dishes and loved them all - took me back to a trip to Athens last year, really well done delicious and authentic Greek food.

Had our second fab meal here. !!! Authentic Greek food made freshly on premises. I had baked cheese and then lamb with potatoes Desert was baklava with ice cream and was delicious. Very reasonable prices too

Had a really good first visit to Greek sampled a few different dishes all were very nice and filling. The staff were very helpful explaining the dishes and making sure you were ok for drinks. Will definitely go back reasonable prices and good food.

Food & service faultless. V.busy yet friendly staff coped brilliantly...Laid back authentic atmosphere. Love the fact the menu’s not set in stone & look forward to trying different dishes on our next visit. Think I’ve found my new favourite place to eat...Tzatziki, houmous, olive bread, saganaki & Greek salad to start followed by Slouvlaki plus two rounds of drinks - all for four people - just over £50! Bargain. Can’t wait to come back.

Amazing little new restaurant! 9 of us enjoyed the full menu, trying a bit of everything and it was only £16 each including a 3 soft or alcoholic drinks each. The dips and bread were so tasty, gyros were delicious and the the chips were to die for. Can’t wait to go back :)

Absolutely AMAZING! Food is sensational and so authentic, felt like I was in Greece! Staff lovely, one even noticing our little baby was getting restless and bringing over a satsuma for him which did the trick and we could enjoy the end of our meal. Cannot recommend enough!

The food was amazing! Would definitely recommend going, however ask for time in between food... as we were in and out in 30 minutes and we ordered 6 dishes but wanted the hummus and bread more like a starter.
