Went here with my partner for a child free meal, staff brilliant very nice and helpful (even turned the heating up so I was warm) meal wow lovely steak cooked really well, ribs massive, well worth the money, lovely clean place would highly recommend. Cheers guys x

Went for birthday celebration with my family, had large table in Conservatory. Really enjoyable food, very attentive staff and Maitre D’ very attentive too. Overall a very enjoyable evening - Thanku to you all

We came with my son Tuesday evening was the first ones in at about 6pm... service was fantastic and the food and children’s selection even more so. We had a sharing platter with chicken ribs etc that was beautiful. My friend had a rare r bone steak I had rump steak medium and it was beautiful. Thank you we will be back xx

Me and my family came to eat here today as a late lunch decider . The best decision made by far,the food was amazing,produce was fantastic ,all cooked to perfection and the staff were just really amazingly helpful,attentive and down to earth! these guys really do deserve some recognition. Great quality,fantastic service all at at a reasonable price .

The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly. We didn’t feel rushed between our 3 courses and everything was of high standard.



Fully recommend a visit here. Thanks guys .

Enjoyed all 3 courses I had

service was good and staff kept an eye out for when drinks were running low food was warm and all came together and the liqueur coffees finished my meal off great

£120 for drinks and 3 course for 3 people good value for money would go back

Came today and the food and service was great, we were the only ones as came in at opening time but all of our food was lovely and staff very friendly, will definitely return.

Called in here today on the off chance. Lovely service when I couldn’t decide between two meals they made me a mixture of both - and offered to do this, I didn’t ask. Allowed me to charge me phone and generally could not have been more helpful.

The lunch set menu is good value with a plentiful selection of food to choose from . The burgers were tasty and they offer a selection of gluten free options . The place has a nice atmosphere also with attentive staff

My husband and I visited the Moody Cow for the very first time for my birthday on the 13th Jan, the whole experience was brilliant from the lady who greeted us to the very friendly bar staff, waiting staff were very polite and friendly. The food was just gorgeous, very flavoursome, my husband had the mixed grill and I had sirloin steak, we both had salmon for starters, we will defiantly be back, thankyou to the amazing team.

Had a lovely ‘late birthday’ meal at MC, Apperley Bridge. Food was yummy, service very attentive - well done to our waiter - 1st day front of house & he did a great job. Perfect place for a girlie catch up. Mid priced but great quality. Definitely recommend.

Not as good as our previous visit. This time 17 year old not allowed wine. Not law of land. 16 year olds are allowed wine with meal but not here not this time. Previous week same person was served. Expensive meal this time. Food ok though still

Booked for Sunday lunch, the place was a little chilly when we arrived (12.15pm) but did warm up sufficiently enough to remove my jacket by the time left. We had the Sunday lunch platter, can’t fault the quality or quantity of the food, however, the wooden board on which the platter is served (first) does not lend itself to keeping the food hot! As such, by the time the plates arrived, the veg (which was perfectly cooked) was barely lukewarm maybe better to present the plates prior to delivering the platter. Staff were friendly and efficient, will call again but maybe not as early.
