The Newton Arms Pub

Words cannot express how fabulous it is at the Newton. Went to my Nieces Baby Shower here and I cannot praise it enough and how superb it was. The food was amazing - what a variety and so yummy Really lovely. What a fabulous afternoon we had. The staff are so very helpful and cheerful constantly asking if everything was OK. Cannot praise the Newton enough xxx. Oh and the Sunday Carverys not too bad either x

We were given a gift token from a dear friend for the Newton arms and finally had the time to go yesterday. And it was everything we had heard. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. I was spoiled for choice everything sounded lovely. The presentation of the food was lovely the food was delicious. Will definitely be going again and again and will work my way through the entire menu.

Very busy, but very efficient. Made special arrangements for table for disabled member of our group. Prices good and the food Devine! Only issue was car parking....couldn't find a spot! Shows how good the place is. Will be back. �

So let me start with the lovey staff that greeted us as on arrival. They were all very helpful and friendly. Meals were all fantastic including desserts. Would highly recommend we will be back again. Thankyou for making my 40th Birthday meal so special.xx

Had a lovely meal had the pie my hubby had the lamb shank gorgeous meals , gorgeous puddings too , all staff very friendly , nothing to complain about a lovely relaxed evening .

Had a lovely lunch. Although it was late there were still 3 different meats available and also pie. Thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful! Not the first we’ve eaten at The Newton and definitely not the last

Had a Sirloin Steak as it is Steak night. I have never had such a gorgeous Steak in a long time it practically melted in the mouth homemade chunky chips crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside homemade onion rings in a crispy light batter grilled beef tomato and flat mushroom and peas and mushroom sauce would highly recommend, table staff and bar staff so nice and polite nothing is too much trouble and beautiful relaxed surroundings and decor will definitely be back.........

Go here nearly every week to take my dad out for his tea the food is beaut never have a bad meal highly recommend it

Can not sing the praises of this place enough. I had the Newton Chicken pasta and it was literally out of this world, I was annoying my table because I didn’t shut up about it. So unbelievably tasty!! Super friendly and helpful staff, reasonably priced and lovely atmosphere!

Beautiful big pub with plenty of space and a great play area out back for the kids. The food was delicious and the staff were really friendly and fantastic with my children.

Attended a baby shower here today and the food and staff were fantastic! Nothing was too much trouble.

We had platters of salmon, smoked salmon, muscles, prawns, sun dried tomatoes, an array of salads, chips, nachos, beef, pizzas vege and meat, garlic mushrooms, breaded mozzarella sticks, olives, pasta, pate and other beaut stuff I've forgotten!

We loved it so much that future family events will be booked here now.

The Newton Pub is in a good location on Sprotbrough Road. Easy parking. The staff are friendly and helpful. Menu has a good choice of food. I decided to have the Steak and Ale pie which was delicious served with chips and mushy peas. It was hot and very tasty. I would recommend this pub.

I’ve now had five of the carveries and they are superb. Very nice hand pulled beers and excellent service. Go and enjoy!
