Went for a family meal today and it was fabulous. Being coeliac finding places with lots of gluten free options is often difficult. This place did not disappoint. Loads of options including starters and mains and even a couple of desserts. My meal was fab, there were even gf home made chips. Others in the party thoroughly enjoyed their meals too. My dad said the lasagne was one of the best he’d ever had. Portion size was good and really reasonably priced. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning. So lovely to have somewhere so good close to home

Our family visited today- 6 adults and a baby for a new year celebratory meal. The food was plentiful, well presented and well cooked despite the fact that it was a busy day. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. Prompt service between courses. We were very happy, the perfect way to start the new year. We will be back. Thankyou.

My new local which is a stones throw from our new home. Love this place, Sundays are a much easier day after having our weekly carvey here. Food is amazing home cooked and the staff are friendly and can't do enough. Looking forward to xmas day here not long to go. �

They really went out of their way to make the 'last supper' an unforgettable one and for that we wanted to thank you!

Had lunch here today with my partner and our 13 month old daughter and received fantastic customer service. They couldn't do enough for us and even made our daughter a little picnic plate full of finger foods as she wouldn't of managed the kids meals they provide. Our meals were all lovely and we will definitely be returning. Thanks again Abi, Kieran and Evie.

Gorgeous Sunday lunch & friendly helpful happy staff, great beer garden at the back & park for the younger kids to play. Would defo recommend, plus the bonus of the sunshine �����

Came here Sunday 13th may to celebrate my nephews birthday. There were 15 of us altogether and the carvary was lovely, plenty of meat on your plate and all different types of vegetables. My son is also dairy and soya free and they couldn’t have been more accommodating, they did him his own little potatoes and Yorkshire puddings and he loved them.



We then returned on the 20th May but this time there was only 5 of us. Again plenty of meat, I had the pie this time and it was lovely, would definitely recommend it. While getting served my dad and myself was taking to Karen who was serving the meat and we happened to mention that my son had allergies and she said to us ‘is he the one with a dairy allergy’, when I replied yes, she disappeared into the kitchen came out and said they are going to do him some separate mash potatoes. We thought it was great that she had remembered from the week before.



Lovely pub, friendly and helpful staff. Will be back at some point and will definitely recommend to family and friends x

Been out for my tea with my girlfriend and her family tonight and have to say the food is out of this world I had the pie and it is the best pie chips and peas I've had ever :) a very excellent service from all the staff would recommend it and definitely will be going back soon to enjoy more of the tasty food they have on the menu

Attended for our first carvery today as it was recommended by our Aunt and Uncle. It was absolutely fabulous - a truly delicious meal and such very friendly staff. Many thanks. We'll definitely be back xx

33 of us came for my son's 18th and pre-ordered our meals which I wasn't sure would work but I have to say your staff were amazing!!! They worked so hard and I can't thank you enough, honestly, it was a fabulous meal. The pub was extremely busy but all our meals came out at the specified time which I didn't expect. The young girl who looked after us was wonderful, pat on the back, I struggle with 6 meals at my house. Hope you all enjoyed the cupcakes! Will definitely be booking for next one!!! (Despite my runner lol) xxxxxx
