The River Don Tavern and Lodge is an award winning CAMRA real Ale Pub situated in the village of Eastoft in North Lincolnshire. The Tavern is coupled with a new accommodation block situated to the rear of the pub.
The River Don Tavern And Lodge Description
Situated on the former banks of the Historic River Don in Eastoft, The River Don Tavern has been offering nothing but excellent quality ales, delicious food and warm friendly service for over 100 years. The Pub has also been listed in the CAMRA good beer guide for over 10 years showing our dedication to serving nothing but the best quality ales.
As well as this the River Don now also provides accommodation in its new 3 star accommodation block to the rear of the pub. A full bed and breakfast service is provided, full disabled access is granted and pets are more than welcome.
We serve home-cooked bar meals every day of the Week and a carvey is also served on Sundays.
Opening times are as stated for the bar but food is served during the following hours:
Monday - Saturday Bar Meals: 5: 30 - 8: 30
Sunday Carvery: 12: 00 - 7: 30
Sunday Bar Meals: 12: 00 - 8: 30

nice friendly place. proper old fashioned pub.carvery was top class, this was our first visit will definitely make it our local as new residents of 7 lakes,looking forward to our next Sunday visit.
What a great friendly public house. First class food, a to die for carvery, all staff are extremely friendly and attentive. dogs welcome in bar area.
We also stayed in the accommodation, what a lovely comfortable stay that was for 4 nights. My only negative observation was the smell in the wet room, I assume it's just because the room is not constantly used. May I suggest trying an air freshener in the room.
The river don Tavern is a wonderful find. A comfortable fairly priced public house with accommodation. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the wonderful staff.
We've just had the best carvery that I've ever tasted. As I am on slimming world, I had turkey and beef ( never had so much meat) with broccoli, cauli, carrots, and leeks. Delicious and the staff couldn't be more friendly!! Well worth a trip out.
Third visit to the pub, was an absolutely lovely meal, can't fault the food or the staff. Best carvery around.
The carvery is unlike any 'chain' carvery. A huge choice of meats and ALL the extras, including roast parsnips. Stunning value for money!!

First visit - found after searching for a dog friendly room for the night. Dogs welcome in room (by arrangement) and bar area - accommodated us at breakfast with the dog also. Food was fantastic and staff friendly and helpful. Instantly wished we had booked more than 1 night. Will be back soon.

How we have not visited this place years ago is my only regret as we have driven by the place loads, now it's our regular eating place, steak to die for!!!!! Cooked to perfection every time I've had it 7 times now!!! Cheese board last night could have fed the family, excellent staff, chef and value!! Well done keep it up!!!
