Good evening guys! This Saturday 4th of August is our next big event at the pub! We have a big charity event in aid of our chosen charity Yorkshire Air Ambulance. This is an amazing charity who rely on donations to keep them going so every penny counts. We will have a fun packed day to keep all the family, children and adults entertained! Thank you to everyone who came to support the tyke scooter club at the weekend for their annual scooter event. Amazing effort from everyone at the club and the members! Good evening guys here is the line up for the weekend for the Tyke scooter club, Friday 27th 7-8pm Live band MOD REVUE and after DJ until late
Saturday 28th - Various stuff going on through out the day including a barbecue (payable) provided by the club, as well as a bouncy castle for the kids Jessica Chippendale 4-5pm... Buster 6-7pm True Brit 9-11pm DJŌĆÖs also playing throughout the day.

Good morning we have had a bar maid/ tender vacancy that has arisen. It will be 2 nights a week preferably Thursday & Sunday night as well as function coverage. Must be hard working and reliable, experience is a MUST and the candidate would be over 18 years of age. We offer a competitive salary. This is roughly 10-14 hours per week and the start date would be the week commencing 6th of August. Please send your cv and covering letter to naydien2000@hotmail.co.uk.

Can we please stress we do not allow any kind of sequence or confetti including party poppers or pre filled balloons at any of our parties. This is due to the amount of time it takes to clean the venue after these items have been used. You are more then welcome to put banners balloons and other decorations. Many thanks for your understanding.

Due to private functions we wonŌĆÖt be serving any food this weekend. Kitchen will be open as usual from Monday. We will still have our frozen and chilled selection available to take away, sorry for any convenience. The pub is open as normal :)

We are looking for stall holders for a charity fun day in aid of air ambulance, all stalls are ┬Ż10 and this goes to the charity itself, we are looking for kids entertainers, face painters, mascots, food vendors, ice cream vans, bouncy castles, etc please get in touch ASAP. The fun day will be held at The Rock & Heifer Inn in Thornton 12-4.30pm. We have already got Bumblebee, Spider-Man and flash, as well as Bradford bulls players booked on, please contact myself if you are interested in a pitch or stall ­¤Öé

We went up with the kids today for dinner and the food was fab and the landlord and landlady were very welcoming and lovely with our children ’┐Į

Visited today lovely pub great views and food excellent highly recommend

The kids loved the Christmas party, especially the snow machine, the entertainer did a brilliant job, well done everyone who put so much hard work into it xxx

Such a fabulous warm welcome. Lovely place and nice atmosphere. The food was second to none and I cant recommend enough!! We will definatley be visiting again!

The food was shocking, half a Jam sandwich and no choice for anything else so most children went home hungry.

Would definitely not go again and don't know how they could warrant ┬Ż6.50!!
