Me,mum and sister come here every year when visting York great value for money and great staff x

Me & Partner been York today on coach trip ...stopped here for dinner as was highly recommended on trip advisor... We wasn't disappointed.. I had delicious fish , chips & peas with bread & butter..partner had sausage ,chips & gravy with bread & butter...gd size portions ... Staff was lovely, chatty & friendly ..definitely worth visit and will be back again...Thankyou :)

Lovely place with great staff :) a must go location if your spending your time in uni and need something to eat.

Loved our dinner wed 2 May fantastic service xx

Just been in for tea and cake went over and above also made ice tea for the first time made to feel very welcome would recommend any time

I started comeing hear a few months ago while i was visiting someone in hospital. The people who work hear are verry nice people and there chips are the best :) I also like the ice cream and the cups of tea

Had the haddock with a side of buttered mushrooms. The fish and the chips were great! The service so nice, the atmosphere upstairs just lovely ’┐Į...

Delicious fish & chips and very nice staff. I knew I needed to get fish & chips while I was in York (I was visiting from the States)-- I ate here after it was recommended to me by one of the girls working at the cafe in the Art Gallery. I was not disappointed!

Best chippy we've been to in a long time, lovely freshly battered fish & moreish chips. The staff were helpful & the lady fish fryer was especially friendly to my kids, will be visiting again !
