What an amazing experience i received here at The Yorkshire Clinic! I arrived here as a private patient of Mr Salhab on Friday, I can honestly say I would highly recommend Mr Salhab i am so happy with my results!! I definitely would go back to him if I was to need anything else from him. The care I received was outstanding the staff here where amazing and were all very attentive. It was lovely to have a phone call from you this afternoon to see how i was doing. Thank you so much to my surgeon and to all the team here at The Yorkshire Clinic x

User

What a lovely place! From arriving at reception through to leaving! The receptionist, nurses and surgeons really made you feel welcome. I was quite nervous and anxious about going in for my first ever operation. They talk you through everything about the procedure and reassured me that everything would be fine! Everybody seemed to be smiling which is really nice to see! The care you get is first class!! Thank you.. Regards Paul

Went to the one stop breast clinic this afternoon as an NHS choose and book patient. Pleasant, knowledgeable surgeon, scanned straight away by the lovely ultrasound team and got to view my results back with the surgeon on his monitor, all within an hour or so. They even got my old scans from St Lukes sent over electronically so they could compare with the new. Slick, professional but still friendly. I could be a little biased as I work there too, but we all have to be patients sometimes and I was really impressed sitting on the ‘other side of the fence’.

Went in yesterday for my gall bladder out , the staff are lovely ,my dr is dr ausosby who I can't thank enough he is brilliant , apart from the pain and the bad sickness last night I'm not doing too bad , and off course it messes u up with the waterworks a bit but even that is coming back , all in all Yorkshire clinic is a lovely place , highly recommended with really lovey staff x

User

Went in yesterday for a knee arthroscopy. Not been in hospital since I was a child and to say I was nervous was an understatement! I needn't have worried, I was so well looked after from start to finish, everything explained, my nerves calmed. If I ever need surgery again I will not be afraid to come here. Thank you Mr Guy and everyone who cared for me so competently and professionally.

User

Well can't say "I loved it" but the care and attention I have received has been super, all the nursing and auxiliary staff I came into contact with were brilliant, the room was super and the food was fantastic, tea and coffee on tap. I was very nervous initially but the staff soon made me feel very comfortable....Unfortunately I am back again soon but most certainly not with the same trepidation....highly recommended.

User

Very positive experience overall. I was very nervous before my op, but staff were all very reassuring and it's changed my view significantly about getting treatment.

The anaesthetist (Mr Galloway) and the other staff with him on the day we great, as that was the bit I was worried most about, but genuinely they all were as great as they could be. I was obviously asleep during the treatment by Professor Raine, but the consultations with him were really clear and reassuring.

The aftercare in the room was great too, really nice staff, very accommodating, checked on me many times. Think I arrived at the room around 1.15pm.... was down in theatre by around 2.30pm.... discharged about 5pm. Can't ask for more.

I don't think I'll be anywhere near as worried if I'm treated there again. Would definitely recommend getting treatment at Yorkshire Clinic.

User

The care I received was first class. I walked in nervous about the op and everyone here reassured me and more importantly carried out the op without me being discomforted. The rooms are great and selection of food was including the quality of it was great too. The nurses were always there if I needed them with a click of a button. Hopefully il never have to come again but if I do il be far less anxious knowing I'm in good hands.

User

Let’s put it this way, no one likes going into hospitals but sometimes you have no choice. So when you do go in you want it to be made as best as possible.

1. So want to be looked after well.

2. Have patient nurses and doctors

3. Your own room

4. Good food

5. WiFi free

6. Your own tele

7. Visiting for 12 hours a day

8. The use of your own phone

9. Comfortable bed

10. Cup of tea day or night.

11. Nurses with good sense of humour

12. Nurse who turns up when you push bell

Well here at the Yorkshire Clinic you get all that and more. I mean it’s been that good I feel like putting it on Trip Advisor. Yup they do themselves proud. Oh I forgot to number the downsides.

1. Can’t think of any even if it is a hospital.

User

I would just like to say a very big thank you to all the staff at The Yorkshire Clinic for making my stay there as painless as possible

From the surgeons to the reception staff nothing has been too much trouble and I really do feel like I have been well looked after

If u were on Trip Advisor i would give you 5 stars

Many thanks

I went in yesterday for a tonsillectomy. Admitted at 1pm as planned, I went down to theatre at 1.50, was in recovery at 2.30 and discharged at 5! Could not have been more efficient, the staff were all lovely and so was the room. No complaints at all!

User

I think that Dr KK aka Consultant Dr Kyriakides is a Genius & a Complete Gentleman. He has a fantastic team around him too. They always make you feel welcome and well cared for and they always share banter and jokes between them all and you the patient if you want, but always respectful and just lovely people.

After years of attempts to relieve my life limiting back pain following a fall from height...he did it.!!! I am not pain free and I probably never will be..but I have my life back with manageable pain, I am feeling incredible difference.

It has been 5 whole years or more since my fall and it has been a tough road. All I can say is that if you need some help then there is no better man that the doctor affectionately known as Dr KK. His manner is quiet but thorough and he really cares about his patients wellbeing and progress.

I hope I do not have to see him anytime soon in his professional capacity though.....From the bottom of my heart. Thank you so much for giving me my life back. I will make that cake I have been promising and surprise you and the lovely team one day soon.

Kind regards Aileen

I have brought my dad a few times here for his appointments and we have always been greeted by professional and kind staff members who are keen to help with anything you need I sometimes have to bring my 9 year old daughter with me who finds the colouring tables provided a much needed distraction from waiting (which has never been much past the appointment time) so much so that she gave the lovely receptionist a picture she had done well done keep up the hard work x x

User

I can't fault the care I received whilst having my hip arthroscopy at Yorkshire Clinic, nursing staff were really pleasant and attentive, ( particularly my student nurse April, who was ace, well done you and my day nurse Janet ) thank you. The food was very good and the theatre staff were, as far as I can remember good, I seem to remember chatting to a very nice ODP pre op, but it was pre op so have forgotten his name but thank you.

I arrived at yorkshire clinic as a private patient of Mr Foo the care I received was outstanding and could not have asked for better the staff where amazing in attending to all my care.

My consultant and surgeon Mr Foo who did my eyelid surgery is such a lovely man took every bit of care of me and listened to exactly what I wanted and needed he was straight and honest with me about my surgery and what he would do.

I can honestly say I would highly recommend Mr Foo and definitely would go back to him if I was to need anything eles from him and his team.

I love my new eyes and feel alot better about my self, 5* for Mr Foo and the Yorkshire clinic staff.

User

I accompanied my husband for a day surgery procedure today at the Yorkshire Clinic and would like to say that the whole experience was first class. Everyone we came into contact with introduced themselves, explained their role and treated us both with dignity and respect. We would both recommend the Clinic to anyone considering surgery. Thank you all

User

Always happy to attend medial appointments at The Yorkshire Clinic, the staff are professional, yet friendly, accommodating & courteous. The doctors are very attentive & listen to you. They also explain choices & action planning in full & make sure you're informed & included. I use all the local hospitals as I have an incurable illness and the Yorkshire Clinic is by far the best hospital in every aspect from cleanliness to admin staff, facilities, methods, treatment & results. I'd highly recommend them as a first choice for medical care!.

User

Absolutely top notch. I came as a private patient for an operation on plate removal from my ankle, everything went super smooth that day. Everybody did a wonderful job, I cannot recommend this place enough.

I went there terrified about the operation but it ended up being a joyful experience thanks to the hospitality of the anaesthetist, his partner and the nurse. I was a patient under Mrs Akhtar who was extremely professional and informative. The nurse I was under the care of, Sue Driver, did brilliant in taking care of me. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the name of the anaesthetist and the nurse in the operating theatre, they did an amazing job in making sure I was comfortable and that things were going smoothly; I wish I could remember their names.

Definitely know where to go whenever there's problem!

User

I've had two procedures done at the clinic. The consultant, surgeon, anaesthetist and a few of the nurses were informative, confident and polite and put me at ease.

However, I was given an appointment over the phone for my first procedure and was told I would be sent a letter through the post to confirm with all the info I needed to prepare. This wasn't done. Two days before my procedure I had to chase this up. This happened again when having my surgery, no letter, no info about what I needed to do. When I phoned the admin staff I didn't even get an apology despite her knowing this had happened before. Everything was fine until I came out of theatre. I was transferred back into my bed which was broken and wouldn't sit up. The porter confirmed he knew it was broken and just said get her an extra pillow. I was left trying to drink a boiling cup of tea laying down as couldn't sit up on my own as staples sore in tummy. I asked for extra pain relief as was in agony. Wasn't offered morphine as I heard them say I could have in recovery, presumably because this requires a drip and a longer stay. I got two codeine instead an hour later after asking. I also had to ask again during this time. The nurse looking after me looked miserable and barely spoke apart from when I was going. She then asked if my hubby could pick me up earlier than had initially said. When he arrived we were then waiting ages to go with a toddler in tow so naturally he was cross at being asked to come in earlier. The whole thing was rushed so much after the op because the bed was needed and it's such a shame this was the case. I could hear clearly all the conversations the staff were having, some about what they got up to on a night out. My husband heard a nurse say she'd had enough and that she was going to 'walk' before the day was out. I was allowed to go home feeling extremely dizzy and not been able to go to the toilet properly, despite the nurse knowing this. As soon as I got outside I burst into tears, not because of the pain ( I've had ops before) but because of the conveyor belt experience. I was also baffled by the biscuits offered after the op, Considering I'd just had a gallbladder removal surely a healthier alternative would be better?

I would also like to add that I am an NHS patient and was referred here because of how clogged up our system is. I certainly felt like an NHS patient during my time here maybe that's why I was so rushed afterwards and offered biscuits. Me and my husband pay tax and always have and just because I don't have a private health care plan shouldn't mean I'm treated differently to paying patients. I'm still a human being, with feelings and pain receptors! I would have been more than happy to pay for any meals etc had they been offered to me. What is clear now though is that I'm glad I'm not paying for this kind of treatment and would urge people to think twice before doing so.

User

Went to the one stop breast clinic this afternoon as an NHS choose and book patient. Pleasant, knowledgeable surgeon, scanned straight away by the lovely ultrasound team and got to view my results back with the surgeon on his monitor, all within an hour or so. They even got my old scans from St Lukes sent over electronically so they could compare with the new. Slick, professional but still friendly. I could be a little biased as I work there too, but we all have to be patients sometimes and I was really impressed sitting on the ‘other side of the fence’.

User
