Thorne & Moorends Neighbourhood Plan

About Thorne & Moorends Neighbourhood Plan

Striving to promote progression and sustainable development within the communities of Thorne and Moorends.

Thorne & Moorends Neighbourhood Plan Description

There will be widespread consultation over a number of months with local residents and businesses about what they want in the Town, and how it should be developed in the future. There will be a variety of documents produced and meetings held.

At the end of the process the Town Council will produce a Plan which represents these views. This is then subject to an independent review, and finally a community referendum.

Once confirmed the Plan will become a major factor in the consideration of planning applications.
