We ate in the storage container at Spark (new) york and can't fault it. The pared down menu made it easier to choose and both our dishes (crispy chicken and chicken massaman) were quickly cooked to order, piping hot and delicious. They were also very competitively priced. We don't live in York but took a loyalty card as we fully intend to return.

Tikk took us back to eating street food in Koh Samui with his tasty chicken satay, Thai red curry and his infectious laugh �. Even the Singha beer was cold. Tikk had quite a laugh when I asked if the beer was cold� Hope to try and see you again before you leave Trinity Leeds ��

Sampled this food on Saturday night, and MY GOD!!! Absolutely the best food I have tasted in years. The beef had an amazing kick, but didn't last all night, which was perfect, the chicken dish was out of this world, the prawns the skewers..................AMAZING!! We will be eating with you guys again and again! Thanks

Really tasty food and well worth the money, you won't get any better in a restaurant. We're so lucky to have this takeaway on our door step!!

Love, love, love you guys. When you go for the tastiest streetfood around and leave with a full belly and new friends. The Thai food master Tikk with his insatiable laughter welcomes you with real warmth. Today he made me sweet chilli prawns accompanied by beef curry, tender and succulent beef shoulder in a rich creamy lightly spiced sauce. Oh and the roasted peanuts on top complete my life!

Wonderful staff who extend warmth beyond the counter really make the whole experience special. X

Food was incredible and really got me into the Thai spirit!!

Disappointed they didn’t have Pad Thai though, but completely not they’re fault and if anything Trinity Kitchen/Pho should be embracing the fact that both Thailand and Vietnam are different countries!!!

Will deffo be eating here again! Xxxx

I had some of the best Chicken Pad Thai I have ever had at Tikks Thai Kitchen at the Malton Food Festival yesterday. The food was deliciously fresh, and looked amazing. The guys working on the van was over run with orders but still all maintained glowing smiles and 5* friendly services ��

Had the king prawns and fries, absolutely loved it, tasted so fresh and lots of flavour would recommend to anyone

Had our first Tikks thai tonight. It was absolutely AWESOME! �

What a lovely, friendly couple and the food was amazing. So fresh with a perfect balance of spice and flavour. We will definitely be treating ourselves again soon.

Fantastic opening night, whole complex was booming and very busy. Great addition to York. Edit: I have now eaten at Tikk's several times, it is great. Very inexpensive fresh food. A delicious meal and a beer is £10.

Fabulous vegan tofu pad Thai on Sunday in Malton. It was quite a long wait but that was mostly in the queue as it is quite popular. I'd happily queue again and can't wait for next time.

Absolutely beautiful food and a lovely man oozin charm and happiness for his food! I devoured the Beef massamam curry (I know Iv spelt it wrong) at Eroica yesterday and it was high end restaurant standard ��� delicious and clean!

Arguably the most disappointing culinary experience that any human being has ever had to ever endure. I was at Peddlers last night and ordered the standard pad Thai. It was 7 pounds fifty, or, 3 days shopping for me and my partner. I wouldn't complain about the portion size, it was reasonable. I wouldn't complain about the spice level, whilst high, is something subjective, and I wouldn't complain about the flavours. Whilst revolting, perhaps it's supposed to be like this. What I can complain about, what is not subjective, is lack of care and attention whilst cooking. I'd say my 'food' was over cooked by about 4-5 minutes and as anyone can tell you, noodles can't withstand anything like that kind of exposure because they turn to mush. Which is exactly what happened. The dish had the texture of mash potato with an inexcusably paltry amount of chicken, which in an incredible shock was also over done. I understand that chicken is a bit scary to cook just right because of food poisoning but a professional should be able to blind test when chicken is done in their own kitchen. It's not like they aren't experienced in how hot the pans run. The customer service was nice though. Very smiley. I imagine that my bowl was just a total train wreck and the standard is much higher usually. I wish only the was a way I could get my time and money back.
