We held our wedding reception here on Friday and what a wonderful time we had. The canapés were delicious, the buffet was wonderful and the chocolate brownies were chocolate heaven. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Thank you so much to Lizzie, Jack and your wonderful staff for making our day so special. Fantastic venue with lots of character x

Was a really excellent lunch from the specials board asparagus,bacon and poached egg with very enjoyable coleslaw and salad, lovely place and brilliant staff!🍸🌺

Warm welcome, literally, we sat in the snug with the coal fire. Great quality and value, freshly prepared food and excellent service. Caters for all tastes, reasons to visit and appetites. Would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

This is a wonderful place, characterful cheerful, friendly, I was at a wedding reception last night and it really is a place worth visiting. Food was amazing, the barman was polite, quick and friendly, good luck travellers rest and see you in the not too distant future.

Paid a quick visit with my partner while in Beverley. We were greeted by a nice young lady who took our order. We got two Cappuccinos, a chocolate orange brownie and a lemon and ricotta cake which was gluten free. We absolutely loved it and it was really good to see the effort and presentation in the cakes, it was especially nice to be able to order a gluten free cake and not worry about it being dry. Well done Travellers Rest, we will return �

One of beveleys hidden gems. First time I have been and I wasn't disappointed. A nice breakfast served by friendly staff and just to top it off for friendly as well.

One of Beverleys best places to eat. It's exceptionally well run n friendly. The quality of food, drink n service is excellent. Occasional live entertainment only heightens the experience. Try to get in to the little snug with its leather sofa n coal fire. Lovely with company. Dog friendly.

I was bought a gift voucher for my birthday. Afternoon tea for 2. My husband doesn't eat cake but said he would join my anyway. When I rang to book.a table we were offered traditional afternoon tea or gentleman's afternoon tea which was savoury not sweet. My husband was very impressed. What a lovely relaxing afternoon we had. Beautiful surroundings. Very attentive staff. Nothing too much trouble would highly recommend this lovely place.

I had a lovely lunch here with my mum in a beautiful setting. Food and drinks were lovely and the service was excellent. Our waitress was lovely and chatty and very knowledgeable about the menu. Will definitely be back.

I go often here with my friend or my hubby and Sunday we took hubby's brother and wife for lunch when they came for the day,it's never dissapointed whatever we have lovely food ,staff and atmosphere would recommend it to anybody,plus if you have a dog they can go in as well

Have driven past a few times but as i was walking through Beverley yesterday i decided to stop off for my first visit & was so glad i did. It's a unique treasure & was so good i took my husband back for breakfast today. Lovely friendly service & tasty food. A constant stream of custom on a dreary Sunday mid January when most people are tightening their belts after Xmas expenditure must be testament to how good they are. Having had 2 excellent breakfasts will definitely be going bak again to the the lunch menu �

Had a delicious homemade sausage roll with yummy apple chutney and salad. Was filling and delicious! Staff friendly and good service. Want to go back to sit in the snug with the lovely open fire!

Been here a few times now and the food is consistently excellent. The staff are welcoming and friendly aswell as helpful! They catered very well for my 3 year old daughter offering her colouring and different books to read! Very cosy and quaint, definitely worth a visit! Finally if you love your tea they do an amazing brew! � X

Amazing venue to hire for a private party! Cosy and intimate atmosphere that means you can chat to friends but have space to spread into the smaller room too ! Delicious food! You are looked after in a friendly discreet way. Good choice of wine and beers.
