Went for my appoinment today already having my heart set on a dress I had tried on a few weeks ago,so I thought it would be pointless. How wrong was I , the shop has plenty of beautiful gowns to choose from and the staff there are amazing. The lady who assisted me was very helpful and had plenty of time for me, she really couldnt do enough. I found the perfect gown and have happily said YES TO THE DRESS. I would highly recommend this bridal shop to all my family and friends. Thank you

Think this shop was the 3rd shop I tried so had gone in with a fairly clearly idea of what I wanted. I met with Katrina who pulled out the styles I'd said I wanted then a few others as it was evident I hadn't made my end up entirely. After saying bits I liked and didn't like about the ones I tried she said she had 1 last one to try, which covered the yes bits from others. Loved it straight away. Was even more thrilled when discovered it was a sale dress! From that point on all the staff we really accommodating when I wanted to try with different shoes, after a hair and make up trial and just when I needed to take the veil. Ronnie did a fab job with the alterations too. Excellent from start to finish. Thank you for making it a lovely experience xx

So this morning I was very excited and nervous at the same time. I chose victoria house for my first bridal appointment. Me and my 2 bridesmaids were taken upstairs and offered a drink straight away. The girls were really lovely and gave me hearts to hang on my chosen dresses to try. I thought that was a fab idea. I'm very happy to say I came away with my dress and my bridesmaids dresses. Not pushy at all and very honest. The dress I ended up choosing was actually one they picked out for me. It's stunning and I can't wait to try it again. I also know I will be getting my flower girls from here too. Thank you very much xx

I went to try a particular dress on this sat, I was greeted by Katrina when I walked in the shop, she took me straight upstairs to where all the wedding dresses are, she was lovely introduced herself and pulled out the dress I came to try on but told us to have a look around and if I want to try anything else on to put a heart on it, after trying about 10 dresses on I finally made a decision, Katrina was so helpful and even let me retry a couple of dresses on to help me with my final decision she also offered me a pair of shoes for free if I I bought my dress there and then, will deffo be going back with my mum and mum in law to look at outfits for them and also taking my bridesmaid, would recommend any bride to visit this shop the service was outstanding couldn't fault them on anything, thankyou so much I was very nervous when I first came but left so happy with the dress I have chosen!

I wanted to wait to review to share the whole experience from nearly 2 years ago to now. I was recommended Victoria House by a work colleague who got her wedding dress from there years ago, after going yo several different shops both in South Yorkshire and the east Midlands I decided to bite the bullet and make an appointment. From making that appointment I've never looked back. The staff helped me to find the PERFECT wedding dress, and they weren't pushy in their sale tactics either (which a few of the bridal stores were) and more importantly they remembered me on each visit. Even with when it came to the dress they gave me a couple of ideas that I would never have thought of!! I can not fault this bridal store and I have been recommending it to other Brides to be. Thank you so much for helping me find the perfect dress x

I have to say bridal shopping had not been a pleasurable experience for me until I went to Victoria House Bridal, I was becoming disheartened and thought I would never find the right dress. I seriously cannot recommend this shop highly enough, the staff, the set up, how welcoming it was and to top it off the gorgeous selection of dresses. Nothing was too much trouble at all. I bought my wedding dress and from the moment i walked into the shop the girls greeted me in a friendly and polite manner we instantly bonded as the lady who I had the consultation with had go married in the same place as I was, she was very helpful & made the experience very worth it’s while, I’d been to several shops & this was the only one I went in a knew I was gonna find my perfect dress, the dress was amazingly altered by Ronnie & the customer service was outstanding until the end when I came to pick my dress up overall I’d 1000% recommend this little shop to anyone looking for any type of dress as it’s an amazing experience. thank you again!�

Fabulous shop. Booked in with a friend for a bridal appointment and was taken away with there amazing bridal room by far the best I've been in and I've been in a few. We both walked away with outfits for the wedding. So much to chose from in the boutique down stairs styles to suit everyone. Came away with a very happy bride and guest. Absolutely top rated. Was very self conscious when I went in but was whisked away upstairs, sat down with a coffee and was totally transformed by the most lovely assistant you could wish for. No pressure, no "luvvy" false comments. Honest and positive all through- nothing seemed too much trouble. Thank you thank you thank you xxxx

Lovely shop and staff. Dress was great and the service was always friendly.



Alterations weren’t perfect such as the loop to hold dress up was positioned incorrectly and ribbon used too flimsy to hold the dress off the floor even when knotted.
