Walkington Pre-School

A warm, friendly and safe Preschool where children are stimulated and supported well by our experienced staff. We are located on the playing fields next to the village play park so children benefit from plenty of fresh air and enjoy being active outdoors.

Walkington Pre-School is a unique and wonderful environment located on the Walkington playing fields.

Our professional and friendly staff provide care and funded early education for children aged two, three and four years.

Our Manager holds early years professional status and staff hold appropriate early years qualifications at level 3 so you can be assured that your child will receive the best start to their learning and development.

We aim to provide equality of opportunity for all members of our group, and this includes children with special educational needs and disabilities. We are experienced in working in close liaison with professionals across the range of special needs and disabilities.

We are open Monday to Friday term time only. Morning sessions run 9. 00am – 12. 00 (or 12. 30pm if including lunchtime) and afternoon sessions run 12. 30pm to 3. 30pm (or starting 12pm if including lunchtime). It is possible to stay for a full day.

Turn onto Autherd Garth, take second left into Beech View.
Follow road around to Playing Fields Carpark, enter carpark.
Pre-School is brick building at the end of children's playing park signposted on the map opposite as Walkington Playing Fields Association.
