Went to the Warren Lodge today for lunch had abit of a wait on but was told by the staff so it wasnвҖҷt a problem, had our lunch which was lovely just sat chatting with my family after lunch & all of a sudden we heard a guy shouting & swearing at one of the Young waitresses it was absolutely disgusting behaviour from a member of the public to behave in such an awful manner, the staff in the pub were very professional & dealt with it very well so well done for that , we donвҖҷt live in the area but will definitely visit again .

I have had bad experience on a lot of occasion in the past with food being served cold etc but this new landlord must be doing something good ,the food was nice and hot and even the staff are more friendly

Visited around 2.50pm Sunday 29th April, we waited around 40 minutes for two Sunday carveries, when they arrived the vegetables were hard and the chicken was a horrible yellow colour, it obviously hadn`t been cooked in the oven or even browned slightly, the skin was just yellow! I couldn`t eat it.

I must say the staff were really nice but sadly we won`t be going back there.

Could be a decent place, ok food but the service is terrible. When you are told there is a 35 minute wait but you receive your food 1 hour and 20 minutes later and even then at different times itвҖҷs not acceptable. Also had to ask for tables to be cleared and find a staff member at the bar to be able to order desserts. Table was booked for 6pm, it was 9.15 by the time we had finished eating, not good with an 8 year old пҝҪ

Been coming here for a while but tonight was a disappointment, the food is on and off and tonight was deffinately off, I had the Mac and cheese which was microwaved as a load of steam came out from the middle when I digged, my partner had the steak and ale pie that had also been warmed in the middle as his pastry was luke warm and the innards steaming , burnt meat and sad chips,we were waiting for ridiculously long periods between starter and mains , we came in around half seven , didn't leave until quarter past 9 , not because we stayed around for leisure , because that's when we finished dabbling with our food, some of you will say why did you eat it ? Purely out of hunger. Did we enjoy it? Nope , will not be back again,.To top it off , they did not have the correct ingredients to make the cocktail my partner ordered, Consistency is not in Warren lodges policy.

came here on friday evening for a meal with the boyfriend as we have just moved into the area. we were told food would be around 35minutes when we orders which we said was fine. starters turned up fairly quickly. we were then waiting nearly an hour for our mains. i ordered the tikka. tiny portion of curry that would only feed a child and the rice was stone cold! i sent it back and they said they would make a fresh one. didnt taste that nice but ate it as i was that hungry. boyfriend ordered a burger and says it hasnt been sitting right.

I had ciabatt, garlic and cheese which resembled a cheap soggy French Bread pizza. The main course.... which we had to chase up after 45 minutes... And was told they were giving us time to finish our starters!! Was fish and chips...... looked nothing like the picture, very bland and someone had placed the tartar sauce dish right on the mushy peas. Never again, disgusting place

Visited this evening with my husband and two children at around 6.30pm and ordered food, I was told there was a 35minute wait on food (baring in mind the pub was not even a quarter full). The food arrived after around 45minutes my food was stone cold, my son's steak was burnt and all in all the quality was terrible. My meal was taken away and I waited another 15mins for it to return while the rest of my family had theirs. I asked for a refund on my food and my son's which I did get BUT they wouldn't just give me the refund for the two meals, i had to have the whole initial ВЈ40 odd bill refunded (which will take up to 5 days to go back into my bank) and then they retook ВЈ33...what if I hadn't had the money in my account to lay on!!!



The last time we visited here was just after it had been refurbished... The food again wasn't a good standard at all many of the prices on the menu were lower then we were being charged at the till. When I asked why I had been charged more then stated in the menu the response was " aa yes we know, menu prices are incorrect on most menus but unless people notice and complain we don't tell them" again I couldn't get a refund but was offered children's ice cream in replacement.



We will never ever go here again, avoid at all cost ...please don't waste your money!

Visited here for my mum's birthday meal. Firstly I went to the bar and asked if there was any crayons and paper to keep my 3year old daughter entertained whilst we waited, to be told they didn't have any left which left my daughter disappointed and myself feeling a little anxious of how else I could keep her entertained now. We arrived at 1pm and ordered food at 1.20pm. At 2pm we finally got our starter which was a cheesy garlic bread and an ultimate sharer. We was given no side plates for us to share and no one came back to see how our food was. Some of the food seemed dry and overcooked. At 2.40 I was getting fed up of waiting for our plates to be cleared and our mains to arrive. I went to the bar and the lady had just started her shift and apologised for our wait and went to find out what was taking so long. She came back to our table at 2.45pm and said it would be another 10minutes. She offered us another round of drinks free as a way of apologising. At 3.05pm 20minites later rather than the 10minutes promised our food arrived. We got a very quick check-up a few minutes later. After that we realised that infact some food was missing off one of the meals, a side order of chips. Already annoyed with how rubbish the service had been we had our meals and didn't stay for anything else like we had planned.



It was a meal for a special occasion and honestly we were very disappointed and it didn't feel like a special occasion but more of a crap experience.



I could understand if it was busy and the staff were maybe rushed off their feet but it was quiet and people who arrived after us got their food before us and left before us. Staff were even stood about talking to friends.



Overall I would give it 0* if I could and definitely not recommended to a friend.

If it had been during the meal time I could understand but this was at 9.00 so not many people in wanting food.

As I said what drinks were available due to shortage of gas. Couldn't get a lemonade for a friend who was driving. Surely you could get bottles in. Couldn't even get a bag of peanuts.

It's a nice pub in a great location let down by rubbish management and uncaring staff. Don't expect it will get busy now the football is over.

Got there and she hadnвҖҷt actually booked it, we booked it specifically so we could eat before the football, ended up in the corner barely being able to see a screen. Had the sharer starter and when it came out the waitress threw the plate across the table and left.no small plates to share and when we looked at the plate was missing onion rings. When we got a check back my husband mentioned it and said we havenвҖҷt eaten them and the waitress was rude and just looked at us blankly.she then said are you sure you havenвҖҷt eaten them?? We were fuming.the mains were luke warm and disappointing and we didnвҖҷt want to stay because of the service.no one around to tell because the bar was empty so just left.disgusting service and will find somewhere else to eat from now on.it doesnвҖҷt matter about the price a good service should still be provided.

Went to the Warren Lodge today for lunch had abit of a wait on but was told by the staff so it wasnвҖҷt a problem, had our lunch which was lovely just sat chatting with my family after lunch & all of a sudden we heard a guy shouting & swearing at one of the Young waitresses it was absolutely disgusting behaviour from a member of the public to behave in such an awful manner, the staff in the pub were very professional & dealt with it very well so well done for that , we donвҖҷt live in the area but will definitely visit again .

I have had bad experience on a lot of occasion in the past with food being served cold etc but this new landlord must be doing something good ,the food was nice and hot and even the staff are more friendly

Visited around 2.50pm Sunday 29th April, we waited around 40 minutes for two Sunday carveries, when they arrived the vegetables were hard and the chicken was a horrible yellow colour, it obviously hadn`t been cooked in the oven or even browned slightly, the skin was just yellow! I couldn`t eat it.

I must say the staff were really nice but sadly we won`t be going back there.

Been coming here for a while but tonight was a disappointment, the food is on and off and tonight was deffinately off, I had the Mac and cheese which was microwaved as a load of steam came out from the middle when I digged, my partner had the steak and ale pie that had also been warmed in the middle as his pastry was luke warm and the innards steaming , burnt meat and sad chips,we were waiting for ridiculously long periods between starter and mains , we came in around half seven , didn't leave until quarter past 9 , not because we stayed around for leisure , because that's when we finished dabbling with our food, some of you will say why did you eat it ? Purely out of hunger. Did we enjoy it? Nope , will not be back again,.To top it off , they did not have the correct ingredients to make the cocktail my partner ordered, Consistency is not in Warren lodges policy.

My meal was taken away and I waited another 15mins for it to return while the rest of my family had theirs. I asked for a refund on my food and my son's which I did get BUT they wouldn't just give me the refund for the two meals, i had to have the whole initial ВЈ40 odd bill refunded (which will take up to 5 days to go back into my bank) and then they retook ВЈ33...what if I hadn't had the money in my account to lay on!!!



The last time we visited here was just after it had been refurbished... The food again wasn't a good standard at all many of the prices on the menu were lower then we were being charged at the till. When I asked why I had been charged more then stated in the menu the response was " aa yes we know, menu prices are incorrect on most menus but unless people notice and complain we don't tell them" again I couldn't get a refund but was offered children's ice cream in replacement.



We will never ever go here again, avoid at all cost ...please don't waste your money!

Visited here for my mum's birthday meal. Firstly I went to the bar and asked if there was any crayons and paper to keep my 3year old daughter entertained whilst we waited, to be told they didn't have any left which left my daughter disappointed and myself feeling a little anxious of how else I could keep her entertained now. We arrived at 1pm and ordered food at 1.20pm. At 2pm we finally got our starter which was a cheesy garlic bread and an ultimate sharer. We was given no side plates for us to share and no one came back to see how our food was. Some of the food seemed dry and overcooked. At 2.40 I was getting fed up of waiting for our plates to be cleared and our mains to arrive. I went to the bar and the lady had just started her shift and apologised for our wait and went to find out what was taking so long. She came back to our table at 2.45pm and said it would be another 10minutes. She offered us another round of drinks free as a way of apologising. At 3.05pm 20minites later rather than the 10minutes promised our food arrived. We got a very quick check-up a few minutes later. After that we realised that infact some food was missing off one of the meals, a side order of chips. Already annoyed with how rubbish the service had been we had our meals and didn't stay for anything else like we had planned.



It was a meal for a special occasion and honestly we were very disappointed and it didn't feel like a special occasion but more of a crap experience.



I could understand if it was busy and the staff were maybe rushed off their feet but it was quiet and people who arrived after us got their food before us and left before us. Staff were even stood about talking to friends.



Overall I would give it 0* if I could and definitely not recommended to a friend.

I asked the staff to turn it off and simply got a вҖҳitвҖҷs to make people buy more drinks because they are warmвҖҷ what an absolute joke and cruel behaviour as the children on the table are dripping in sweat, a pregnant friend of mine almost passing out because of the heat and us all leaving as a result. When you have over 50% of the customers waiting to get what drinks were available but no staff behind the bar it's not a great advert. If it had been during the meal time I could understand but this was at 9.00 so not many people in wanting food.

As I said what drinks were available due to shortage of gas. Couldn't get a lemonade for a friend who was driving. Surely you could get bottles in. Couldn't even get a bag of peanuts.
