About Weston Park

Weston Park

Weston Park Description

Weston Park is one of the most welcoming stately homes with as much character as any English castle and with as many stories as any royal home.

Weston offers more than just beautiful gardens, architecture and history; the House and Stables are available for business meetings, team building events, corporate hospitality, weddings, product launches, private parties, conferences, family fun days and activity days; offering an unforgettable venue, appealing to young and old.

The Granary Farm Shop, Grill Restaurant & Art Gallery are open daily; the Farm Shop stocks the very best in locally produced food and drink and changing exhibitions can be viewed in the art gallery.

Whether welcoming royalty for a wedding, G8 Summit Leaders for a conference, clients for a business event, schools for an educational visit or visiting for an event, Weston has a unique appeal whatever the occasion.

Now held in trust by The Weston Park Foundation, you will find Weston Park as welcoming and engaging as ever.

What a great place, our two young boys really enjoyed themselves and keep asking to return. The adventure play ground is good for all ages with lots to keep them entertained for a few hours. The train was fantastic, we've been on many mini trains with our boys and this is one of the best, we picked a good time to go as the gardens were stunning with Rhododendrons and bluebells. The toilets were spotless and great baby changing facilities. Hope to go back soon!

User

We went for the food festival which was fantastic but also took advantage of the walk around the gardens. Truly stunning landscape and garden architecture abound. The play area and miniature train were in high demand and suitable for all ages.

There is a cafe the but as we'd been to the food festival we didn't take advantage of its facilities but it seemed popular.

Excellent value for money and we will be going back to explore even more and look around the house!

Highly recommend for a good family day out.

User

Fantastic place to go with children for a day out. We paid £15 for 1 adult and 2 children for the park and gardens. Spent 5 hours there and children never stopped. Adventure playground is great for all ages with lots of places to sit and watch. The maze was enjoyed by all and we also joined in the free craft activity which was brilliant. So many different things to make with loads of resources. All the volunteers in the craft session were excellent. Would highly recommend a visit.

User

Went to Weston Park for the first time on Saturday with my 2 young children - the play area and the train was fantastic, despite the rain we had a great time. We went to the cafe when we first arrived and then after for lunch and we were not made to feel welcome. Going anywhere with 2 young children can be stressful without staff being rude and unhelpful. Apart from that the food was lovely and reasonably priced. I would come again but may avoid the cafe!

User

Over priced and disappointing previous years it’s took all day to look round visiting this stall and that this year barely took half a day got to be half the size it used to be.

If your a dog fan then this is the show for you anything else I suggest you visit another country fair.

Food and drink was poor over priced half cooked rubbish and a fiver a pint can’t see me rushing back anytime soon drastic improvements need to be made

User

We didn't mind paying £20 each to get in but then to be charged £9.00 yes £9.00 for burger is disgusting. Maybe if the organisers didn't charge the vendors such a high price to be there then the food and drink wouldn't be so expensive. Forgetting the very expensive food and drink as a family we had a nice day out.

User

Over all a good day, I have been going for years and years I have to say this year something didn't feel quite right about it, I'm not sure what it was, the armed police presence seemed abit OTT in my opinion and the safety aspect of some of the stalls selling knives was questionable at best, the £40 entry fee for me and my mrs was a little steep in especially with the cost of the food venders charging £2.50 for a bottle of pop I expected to pay a bit more than the shops but that was more than a bit I love the game fair but I am questioning if I will return next year, I hope the organisers take note of all the reviews as I see I am not the only one to bring up the pricing of food and drink and the entry I attend a lot of events at Weston park and this seems to be the most expensive of them all 😕

User

I think the manager of this place is very mean, stopping a fully licensed search of a badgers set for the recovery of a family pet, it's strange that thease places want visitors and their cash , however if you have a problem like the loss of your dog on their land then it's tough, they would sooner let your pet die down a set than help, shame on you, because of this I will not be visiting and spending my cash there, I bet a lot of people would feel the same .

User

Went to the midland game fair with my daughter, she enjoyed the dog and falconry shows, the downside was the price of food and drink, between £8-£10 for a burger,£5 for a sausage roll and between £3-£4 for a drink, now I'm not a tight person but there was no way I was paying those extortionate prices on top of the £18 entry fee,for what was there the entry fee should have been no more than £10,I will definitely not be going next year

User

Shame on you for not allowing the search for this poor dog, begs the question what are you hiding. Maybe we should all report this to RSPCA as fear for welfare of an animal.

User

Shame on you Weston Park for not allowing a family to search for their beloved dog! They got a licence from Natural England for a camera search in a badger sett and you refused. Hope you lose plenty of business.....I for one will never visit.

User

Not allowing a dog owner who had lost her dog, to check down a badger sett with a camera, who also had a licence to do so .......not impressed and wont be coming again

User

It’s world animal day, I’m sure you’ll give permission for the owners of a lost dog to search a badger set near to where she went missing on Your land. They have obtained the appropriate license so what’s the hold up? Just think of the free publicity!

User

I'm a coach driver. I delivered 46 passengers to the Game fair. On arrival I needed to go to the loo, I intended to get fed, get coffee etc. I had to pay £20 to do this. There are no facilities for coach drivers and it's wrong. I wasn't there for the game fair and have no interest in what went on there. I'm one pissed off driver 😡

User

I cannot believe that Weston park are refusing to let a distraught family check their beloved pet isn't stuck down a badger hole even though they have the relevant paperwork. Come on Weston Park do the right thing.

User

Dog went missing from the game fair held here possibly now stuck down a badgers set - weston park wont let owners search- how cruel and shame on them hope this dispicable behaviour is shared far and wide through social media we are at heart a nation of animal lovers this is disgraceful help this poor family search for their dog they are distraught

User

Disgusting not to allow the dogs owners to access the areas to check for their missing dog. If National England has no problem granting the needed permits to do so, why are you denying them access?!! Just be warned everyone using the facilities!!

User

Disappointing how you won’t allow a devastated family look for their dog when she could potential be in the badger setts!

User

Come on Weston Park at least try & help these distraught people find their dog. I have seen no effort from you to help spread the word with regards to this missing dog so please don’t also impede actions that may help. This is a PR disaster waiting to happen for you, so save yourselves the bad publicly & do the right thing!
