Last years party in the park was great - and the sun is coming out just in time for this years one! Saturday 12-3 in the centre of Cleckheaton, with music, singing and home made cakes!

We’ve been having such a great time at messy church recently - and there’s another one on this Sunday at St John’s 4-6 pm... A perfect Father’s day treat!

This will be a high quality event with members of the Opera North Company performing here in Cleckheaton. Please tell your friends, purchase your tickets and come. Tickets will be available on the door if you haven’t had time to purchase them already.

Found these on a lot of the graves this morning. Nice to see this when there is so much vandalism about.

Noahs prayer glove made at Minnows this morning. The hearts are for family, The ruler for leaders of our and other countries, Union Jack for the queen, plaster for the sick and the little mirror and name for himself. I think it's lovely. Well done to Mrs Drake.

Two great community events to enjoy in Cleckheaton this weekend...

The eggs are out there! Last chance to celebrate Easter before school starts again... Messy Church at St John’s this Sunday from 4pm - to include a mega egg hunt!

Lovely service at Whitechapel this morning. The Beavers,Cubs and Scouts from the 14th Spen Valley were there and carried their flags with pride. The Minnows made the burial place of Jesus with the stone rolled away(all edible--- brilliant idea from Mrs. Drake). Margaret and and Joan sported their Jesus lives badges, also made by Minnows. Pity I don't have a photo of our vicar 'baptising' us with water and a twig of Rosemary after we had renewed our baptismal vows. He enjoyed it so much!

Congratulations to Amy and Eileen who are to be confirmed at Bradford Cathedral this evening! Please pray for them as they take this step of faith...
