What a truly amazing place to stay! My mum and I spent a lovely relaxing week staying in the Rabbit Dale lodge in September. The site is small which provides the feeling that you're staying on a family's private property and not a large commercialised site. Each of the lodges has its own privacy and peaceful setting. The lodges themselves were beyond expectation from the beautiful bedrooms to the well equipped kitchen to the little touches throughout which show the thought and care taken. Each bedroom had its own en suite with bath and shower, which was perfect for my mum and I as it meant we weren't waiting for each other to finish in the bathroom. The open plan lounge and kitchen were spacious and comfortable. The decking area provided a lovely place to chill which is needed after a day shopping in York which is only 20mins away. Ruth is a wonderful host and Steve who was there to meet us was very welcoming. Can't praise this place enough and loved it so much we've already booked for next year!

What a hidden gem ! Just arrived home after a few nights in one of the Shepherd huts and really enjoyed it ! Really lovely experience in such a beautiful area . The log fire really warms the place up and makes it very cosy . Everything we needed was to hand . The breakfast baskets are lovely , especially the fresh apple juice . So close for exploring York , the park and ride is only 20 mins away � the fleece Inn is really lovely too - big portion sizes ! We will certainly be returning . Charlie and Steph

What a beautiful place to stay. We stayed in Honey Dale Lodge, with a hot tub. Form the moment we stepped through the door, we knew that we had found somewhere special. Immaculate interior, designed and fitted to a high specification. The 'magic' frosted glass door to the hot tub was very impressive and added that extra bit of privacy when needed. Bottle of prosecco waiting for us upon arrival was a lovely touch. Ruth and the team were so welcoming and friendly. Definitely recommend to friends and family.

What a Fantastic retreat for a Romantic Weekend. Great modern Lodges with all mod cons and extremely comfortable. The Hot Tub made it! Looking up to the night Sky and listening to all the Owls and Wildlife in the distance, with a glass of fizz - Perfect. We had a very warm welcome too. Walking distance to the local pub and village and about a 30 min drive to York.

We’ve visited Wolds Edge twice now. First time in the Cow Dale Shepherd Hut, the rain poured down but we were so snug in our little hut with the log burner on it really didn’t matter. Then we returned here in April for our anniversary. Needless to say it was absolutely fantastic to the very last detail. Our favourite was the hot tub on the decking, so beautiful with the candles lit around it at night time. We will definitely be staying again and again. What a peaceful find. Customer service was 5 star and attended to all of our needs. Would definitely recommend and it’s well worth the money! Thanks so much!!! �

We stayed last night in the Cowdale Snug hut, absolutely amazing. From the moment we pulled up outside, Ruth was there to welcome us and show us around and tell us what was what. We went to the snug hut and lit the fire and had a couple of drinks whilst taking in the lovely view, then we walked up to the Fleece for a couple hours, which is literally a 5 minute walk. We got back to the snug hut and just relaxed and also borrowed scrabble to play whilst having a couple of drinks. It was very relaxing and the bed was so comfy! We woke up to the birds singing and made our breakfast and had a cuppa. I would really recommend this to anyone needing a relaxing break. Loved it. Thank You.

We stayed in Cow Dale for a couple of days for our mini-moon (we got married last Saturday) and absolutely loved it. The area is so peaceful, we spent one night sitting in front of the fire pit toasting marshmallows and bat spotting ( we also caught sight of an owl) and had a visit from the resident chickens the next morning. The snug hut is cosy and very well equipped and has the most comfortable bed ever! Nice touches were the breakfast and brownies included as an extra treat. It's only a 5 mile drive to the beautiful market town of Pocklington and not that far from the park and ride if you fancy a day out in York.

We stayed here over the weekend and we were in Lily Dale - it blew us away! The attention to detail is amazing, the lodge itself was beautiful inside and out and it was oh so cosy - it was the perfect home away from home! We were so sad to be leaving but can't wait to come back again the near future. Thank you Ruth and the team for making our stay so pleasant and thank you for the delicious little treats too! My boyfriend and I will definitely recommend this lovely holiday location to all our friends and family. Thank you again :) x

We have just got home after staying in the Lilydale lodge, we really didnt want to leave, we had the most amazing week, everything in the lodge was perfect and the owners were so friendly we felt right at home. Cannot recommend this place enough, it's pure luxury ���

We came here for my boyfriends 21st Birthday and it was amazing. Such a gorgeous lodge, the people were lovely & couldn’t help enough. In a great area too - we will 100% be coming back, just a half hour drive from York & Malton.

Stayed hear for our honeymoon in honey dale lodge, absolutely amazing place, we loved every minute of our stay hear. The lodge is simply stunning and so romantic for a honeymoon. The hot tub makes it even more special and relaxing. Based in a lovely village bishop wilton with a local pub that we happen to try one evening for a meal and the food was excellent. Would love to return in the future and we will definitely recommend to other, thankyou so much :-) xx

Stayed for 2 nights with my husband and 3 year old son , in cowdale hut

Really loved it so cozy and quiet and great space for my son to run about on our plot

the little touches like the games/books/DVD to borrow was fab , the flapjack was amazing and the breakfast hamper was a brill idea to start us off on the first day

toilet/shower block was great , very clean and not too far away

Just back from a lovely weekend in mill pond lodge, with friends. What a beautiful place wolds edge is. Very friendly staff, spotlessly clean and very well equipped lodge. Already looking at booking again for next year and hopefully bring more friends with us next time. Would definitely recommend to all my family and friends.�

I can honestly say I don't think I've ever stayed in a most relaxing and calming place as Wolds Edge, the Cow Dale "Snug Hut" is just perfect in every possible way, to come back to this after 3 days of beautiful walks around the Yorkshire Wolds is just wonderful, the attention to detail is spot on, the little touches make this place unique, this along with 3 evening meals at the Fleace Inn which is only 2 minute's walk into the beautiful village of Bishop Wilton makes the whole relaxing break even better, if you need a place to escape the normal head breaking routines of daily life this is that place, you certainly have done yourselves proud with this tiny corner of paradise ������

Couldn't of wanted to spend my 21st birthday any other way! Lovely place to stay and celebrate, both owners are lovely and very welcoming! Didn't want to leave this morning, but will definatley be back and have mentioned it to the Mother-in-Law and she seems up for it.

Very clean and has lovely surroundings, nice little walk to the local pub.
