A huge thank you to all the York St John University students who have so generously given up their time to do performances and bucket collections, organised by Beth and Aaron, at York Hospital as part of the Pop-Up Performance Project. Your music has made so many patients and staff smile today.

It's always so lovely to see the positive reaction music gets from patients, visitors and staff passing the York St John University "Pop up Performance" at York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Thank you to Emma, Emily and Beth for making smiles with their wonderful music today.

We are excited to announce that thanks to your generosity and continued support of our charity, we have been able to provide the funding to support the York Hospital Bus - a brand new Park and Ride service direct to York Hospital.
The new buses will launch on Mon 29 April and run every 20 minutes from Rawcliffe Bar Park & Ride to York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. We hope that they will make access to the hospital better for patients, visitors and staff every day!

We are proud to be the charity of the year in Marks and Spencer, Parliament Street in York.
Today two of the Cystic Fibrosis team, Physiotherapist Tracey and Nurse Julie were able to say thank you in person when they collected a cheque for £8,600, taking the total raised so far to an amazing £15,000!
It was also a lovely opportunity to catch up with Michelle who is a valued member of the M&S team and a Cystic Fibrosis patient at York Hospital. Thank you to our wonderful volunteers who collect in store every week and staff like Alison, pictured, who does a staff bake sale every Sunday as well as the public who put spare change in our buckets and tins throughout the store - we are so grateful for such fantastic local support.

It was so lovely to meet and thank Mr David Harriman who has raised an amazing £1180 to benefit the Intensive Care Unit and the Haematology Department, at York Hospital, in memory of his wife Beryl.
The money was raised with the help and support of their children Louise and Gareth as well as so many friends and family who helped at a coffee morning last weekend. The family were inspired to raise the money to say thank you for the wonderful care Beryl received as a patient in York Hospital.
Their fundraising will continue with a raffle at the forthcoming Spring Luncheon on May 4th.

We are always extremely grateful for the support local businesses give to patients. This week it was lovely to meet Caroline at Fosters Jewellers in York. They have generously donated an exquisite Diamond and white Gold Pendant and chain to be auctioned raising vital funds to make things better for patients visiting the Breast Unit at York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
