We have been sent our first pictures of decorated Chef hats for the Bake Off. This is Alfie and Evie.
Don't forget, we'll be doing a draw for a family ticket to Murton Park in 2019.

User

What a great picture from #Histfest made all the better by the fact we have had visits from these two this year. Anita Rani was filming for Countryfile and Janina Ramirez was launching here wonderful book 'Riddle of the Runes' on our Viking village.

User

Wonderful place and such lovely people working there. I have come with my daughter school and they have made us feel so welcome and have given the children an amazing day out. Can't recommend enough .

User

What an amazing museum. Adults and 3 year old loved every minute. Staff lovely and friendly and museum well catered for adults and children in mind. A must see place. Will be returning again very soon.

User

We’ve just had a lovely day here. So much to do. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Very reasonable priced on shop and cafe. My son has additional needs and it’s so refreshing to have a place we can enjoy freely at our own pace. Will be back! Highly recommend here for a visit. Can’t wait for the Santa train! Again we’ve been and it’s fantastic.

User

Went to this place last year. Came out saying what a fabulous time we had and what brilliant value for money it was compared to other places we have visited. For something a little different to the norm and for people who absolutely love doing what they do and are more than happy to share their passion with you either by playing a game with you or by telling you all about it. Try it you wont be disappointed.

User

We visit Bauble, the elves and Santa every year and love it! We have been visiting since our eldest daughter was 2 years old, she's now 13 and we've since introduced our 2 year old to the fantastic experience!! Every year everyone is so welcoming, the train, santa (the gifts) and the tour are great and our youngest didn't cry (the first santa that hasn't made her cry)! If you can squeeze a visit in before Christmas we highly recommend it!! A huge happy Christmas to everyone involved in such a magical day!! Thank you!!

User

We have spent many a day enjoying the Yorkshire Museum of Farming - a fantastic place steeped in local history. All of the facilities and attractions, from the animals and agricultural museum, to the light railway and brilliant Viking Village and Roman Fort, make for a great day out for the whole family. The 'in role' experiences are also excellent, as well as the workshops provided n school trips too.

Today, we were also lucky enough to take our boys to the 'Santa Special' Christmas experience. I have to say, it is for me, the very best one that York has to offer. Absolutely magical!

No doubt, we'll continue to enjoy many more fun-filled days out in the future.

User

We had a lovely day today, fantastic family day out, animals, train rides, cowboy show, vikings, soft play, outdoor play, nice cafe we will be coming back.

User

We are a family that loves this farm and come back time after time.

It's excellent value for money and you have a fab time learning new things.

Our son is in a electric wheelchair and he doesn't have any problems getting around the farm and can access it all a+++.

User

Visited today for the 'Be a Viking day' thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience as much as my 4 year old daughter lol. We got to dress and live as vikings and came home with oil lamps we d made. Everything about it was fab. You could really let go and enjoy yourself and the talks were very informative from 'Lif' and 'Eric' the Viking was great. even the shop items were very reasonable and the cafe looked good although we didn't have time to visit. Would highly recommend. Hope we can visit again soon.

User

User

There is so much to see and do here and incredibly varied - from the train to the Viking village and every tractor in between! Very reasonably priced and a lovely atmosphere around the whole place.

User

Really enjoyed our day in Feb half term doing Viking things- kids loved it- ideal for kids aged 4-10. Very reasonable cafe and gift shop- much cheaper than other local attractions- and delighted to find there was an indoor picnic area. Next time with it being so well priced in cafe we will eat in- Soup n Roll only 2.50. Have been in summer before and there is plenty to do for a whole day out. If you go in Feb half term wear something warm- lot of outside activities and v cold!!

User

One of our favourite places to visit - referred to as “the Tractor museum” by my 4yo who’s tractor-mad. So much space and plenty to do, indoors and out - the toy farm is a brilliant idea, great playground and big sandpit, pedal tractors, loads of animals to see, nice nature walk and a lovely cafe serving great food. We’re regulars and would definitely recommend everyone put it on their hit list for a visit. Though not too many people, as it’s usually lovely and quiet just perfect when watching more than one child

User
