Last week saw the start of the Bowling Leagues for Balgownie in the Bon Accord, A&K and Benachie.
Unfortunately the BA Triples league game at Westhill Bowling Club last night was postponed due to somewhat adverse weather conditions! ❄ Hopefully the season will improve! Thanks Davie Main for the photo.

Reminder of our "Try Bowls" Open Day event on Sunday 28th April 10am until 12 noon.
Come along and try Scotland's most successful Commonwealth games sport. Club also offers a number of other activities and events throughout the season.
Open to all ages.

Balgownie Bowling Club Opening Sunday 21st April.
First Jack and Bowl was delivered by President Aileen Donald. Excellent turnout and brilliant weather meant a full number of rinks were played.☀️☀️ #Bowlfies

Come along and enjoy fun, great company and good food at our Bowling Club BBQ on Saturday 6th July from 3pm.
There will be games, fun stalls and challenges on the green.
Food will be served from 4pm to 6pm followed by live evening entertainment performed by Killer Heels.... Everyone is welcome to come along!
Adults £7.50 each Children £1.50 each

Annual Coffee Morning

Opening of the bowling green & first throw of the season @ 3pm, followed by refreshments and bingo hosted by Mike Geekie.

Last Wednesday, two cheques were handed over to MacMillan and Alzheimer’s Scotland as a result of club fundraising.
Madeline from MacMillan and Clare from Alzheimer’s Scotland were both in attendance to gladly accept the cheques from President Aileen Donald and fellow club members.
Thanks to all who donated towards these great causes and the members who turned up on the day for the presentation and show their appreciation.

Balgownie B.C. Darts Team Night Out at Shri Bheemas in B of Don, enjoying their Xmas night out and Indian meal on Saturday 15th Dec. Team are currently sitting joint 3rd in the Aberdeen Bowlers Dart League and are through to the final of the 4 Pairs competition in April.Wishing the team the best of luck for their remaining league fixtures and competitions.
