Outside space desperately needs updating into 21st century & facilities need to be cleaned better, towels provided in toilets, new modern toilets and showers put in etc. Some may like a bit of grimy East London. For continental Europeans, this is a little below par. Nice wooden floor though. Nice views over the urban jungle.
The 4th Floor Studios has been the most perfect and fabulous venue for our wedding! Thank you Hannah and Toby. The studios has everything we could have asked for to provide an amazing setting for our wedding reception. The wonderful space is light and airy and can accommodate a large number of guests without feeling cramped, we loved how it transformed into a gorgeous and atmospheric space in the evening with fairy lights and candles, dancing the night away late into the night - a luxury we struggled to find in most wedding venues.
The space has a loft and warehouse feel to it, whilst also being clean with nice wooden flooring creating more of a classy feel, it certainly has a feeling of urban chic which is exactly what we were looking for. Hannah and Toby have filled the space with quirky and antique style props, which you can use or store away according to taste, a great option to have. Our guests had an amazing time and loved the venue. The real stars of the show, however, are Hannah and Toby; their friendliness, attention to detail and hard work is second to none. Nothing is too much of a problem for them, totally solution led and they genuinely care about your day; making sure that every detail goes the way you would like. The service they provided was of the highest quality, and their friendly and fun nature made it a real joy to work with them during the run up to the wedding. I would like to say a massive thank you Hannah and Toby, we'll probably see you again in the future, this venue is perfect not only for weddings but for parties too! Lots of love Harriet & Neal x
This venue was absolutely perfect for our event The House Party, our guests were amazed and absolutely loved the props and decor as it is like no other place in London, really great venue and the owners are really awesome people to work with, highly recommend!
Used this venue for an event. The venue was more shabby than shabby chic and the owners (particularly Hannah) were terribly rude and unprofessional in their dealings with my guests and I. I would strongly advise against using this venue unless you want your event ruined and money wasted.
We celebrated our wedding day at the 4th floor studios. The venue has rustic and quirky feel that was perfect for our big day. We hired out two floors and moved our guests around the building for different parts of the day. Toby and hannah were wonderful hosts, attentive to our needs, really down to earth and flexible with our requests. We felt really comfortable in the space and could treat it like our own. Toby went out of his way to help us on the day when our caterers had forgotten our food order! The only thing I would say is make sure the agreements and specifics are on email because the approach is very laid back. This is not necessarily a bad thing but it's better to have something in writing. Overall a top rating from us!
I used this venue for our Team Away Day, a team of 20 people. The venue is delightful and quirky. The staff are exceptionally helpful and on hand to assist. They provided all the equipment we required. The team reported that this was one of their best away days. The food was delicious and is home cooked. The venue provided a creative space which allowed everyone to relax and enjoy the day to the maximum. We came away with some good ideas to take forward. If you are looking for a venue that gives you the best of everything. This is the one for you. It also houses a bar. I highly recommend this venue and will definitely be using it again.
