Bedminster Family Practice

There are only two female doctors and my app. was cancelled this week because one of tbem was ill last time i saw her she said she could not deal with the larger of my pro blems make a double app. i cant tbey do not have any app. on line is the only way to get one and so i have to wait 1 month now to see her for the second time but when i do she will have to deal with all my problems

The appointment system is diabolical. You can never see the same doctor, when you need to see the same Dr you have to wait months. Their customer relations or service is somewhat undesirable and needs a lot of work. There is only about 3 receptionist and 2 or 3 doctors that will listen and give you the time of day. They have now brought in where you have to tell the receptionist what the problem is before you can be give an appointment sorry but no your just the receptionist you don't need to know!. Yes have an outline but not go in depth. They aren't very professional and I too are planning to move my family to a different doctors. Don't recommend at all

This is the worst surgery I've ever been a patient at. I've never been able to book in with the same GP twice. Its really difficult to book appointments and I've often been told just to call back over and over (after being on hold for ages too).
The appointments always run late with no apology or warning, the shortest wait past my appointment I've had in the last 5 was 45 min and the longest 1 hour 45 min. I may have been unlucky but it seems to be a trend.
I've been given the wrong test results over the phone and been told that they have lost blood results which 'dont seem to ever have happened', prolonging my worry and left a medical condition untreated for longer.
Whilst there are a couple of GP's who were lovely (and the nurses are all lush) most of the Doctor's I've seen were patronising and did not listen to what I was saying properly - consequently failing to identify the root cause of my symptoms for over 7 months, whilst they worsened and worsened - something easy to identigy and simple to treat ended up making me really ill.
REALLY unhappy with the treatment I have received here. While I do understand the strain on GP's and the NHS in general, the treatment at Bedminster Family Practice is far worse than the Surgery I am now registered with (in the same area).
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

This is the best doctors surgery in Bristol without a shadow of a doubt.
I have attended here since 2013 when I had my stroke and the care and respect I have been shown here has renewed my faith in the Human Race!
