Cards for Smiles is a new way to meet and connect with people. Founded in 2014 by two friends living in London who decided to bring back the tradition of meeting people face to face, rather than a photo on the internet. By combining this interaction with a modern web based communication system, Cards for Smiles was born. What makes people feel good? Compliments of course! We decided on the most popular compliments people like to receive to make them smile and popped them on small cards. On the other side of these cards is where your unique code can be written. Your unique code leads to your profile on the website (www. cardsforsmiles. co. uk), which has been built with a fully functioning messaging system where you can chat away for as long as you like. So you hand your cards out to people who catch your eye or look like they need cheering up. They then type your code into the site and that finds your profile. Now they can either choose to send you one of our specially designed e-cards or write their own message to you. The possibilities are endless. You may, after chatting, decide to arrange to meet up for a date, become lifelong friends, or potentially meet 'the one' or 'one of the ones'.
