Castle Health Centre

I've just called to get an appointment as this used to be a walk in centre. I was told "No No No this is not a walk in centre. If you need someone ring 111 or go to the urgent care centre at the hospital" I didn't even get a goodbye. Rude staff and I will not be going here again.

Very poor attitude by the staff. They leave the patient feeling if the patient was an unwanted disease to them. Yuk!!!

Absolutely apourling doctors! I was with castle health for 3 and a half years I was there at least twice a week, reception staff were very rude and not helpfull, and the same can be said for the doctors, I left this GP practice in March 2016 and signed into a new doctors, only to discover straight away with my new surgery that i had under active thyroid disease and PCOS and I suffer enormously with skin abcesis and I've had to have 2 operations to remove them, Castle didn't take any of my health conditions into consideration and palmed with off with tablets after tablets that actually in fact I never needed, I'm now with belgrave and they uncovered all my health conditions on my first appointment and got me into surgery as quickly as they could.. I was always concerned because I was failing to conceive and that I was worried castle did absolutely nothing only for me to discover at my new surgery I have fertility problems, another thing castle palmed me of with tablets, I was also concerned as I only have 1-2 periods per year and yet again castle didn't do crap.... moving to belgrave was the best decision I've ever made I have also made sure and tried my family hardest to make sure my family and friends change from this surgery too... if I knew what I was doing it would flaming well sue castle health centre for what they have done and for what they have put me through!

went on a weekend to see a doctor they had got in to see me ... he didn't care at all about how I was feeling ... the doctor was scraping his feet around the place with no hurry at all yet when I got in the room he said I need to hurry up as others where waiting even tho I had a time slot? anyway called them today to find the number on here is out of order ....WE PAY TAX FOR THIS SERVICE!!!

Counter staff rude.

Used to come here when we lived in town. It used to be a walk in centre, was always busy with people that didn't really need to be there! Appointments were always late and the doctors never seemed to care. I would go about an ongoing situation and be sent away with advice on taking painkillers ect which I explained I had already done. On top of that some of the receptionists were downright rude and made it seem like you're inconveniencing them!

i have just been on the phone to this medical center this morning trying to get some information sent to a doctors in the town that iam in dew to me having to stay at my familys house where there is no tairs i have to climb dew to sprains in both ankels. i looked up there telephone number again to see that there page was down so i rung a primium rate number to find out there number to see if the information had been sent from york YDH. i told the receptionist that there page was down on the internet. and that the premeium rate number had told me to make them aware. that they needed to ring them to get there page reinstated. so in effect i was only helping them to become aware there page was down . and i was met with a manner of disgusting response because i had already rung once this morning. tell me if iam wrong or is it not a receptionist job to take calls???? and not to speak to the public in a snotty manner???? i was asking a question and letting them know there site was down. and was spoken to like i was wasting her time.. I've hurd more etiquette from a child than some one who is paid to speak to the puplic . manners are about the only things in life that are free. if she dose not like to speak in a good manner then i think she should have a re think on her job. after all if there was no questions to be asked in her job then there would be no job for her to speak in such a manner. other than that the surgery is very good with some very good doctors. but as for the receptionist she is giving the surgery a bad name.
