Chiropractic First

I do a lot of carrying and moving with heavy gear in my job. Back pain and injuries are a regular occurance for my colleagues and other people who work in the industry. I developed pain and restricted movement in my lower back and across my shoulders. It stopped me working for a short time.

After seeing Gav he was honest about the treatment, espousing chiropractic care as more 'maintenance' than 'miracle cure'. (He takes a very holistic view of health) He told me that he could help me with the immediate discomfort I'd had but that in the longer term I'd need a course of treatment, not just "getting pushed back into place". He gave me exercises to do to build core strength, suggested dietary changes in addition to the treatment he gave me on his bench.

Over about 3 treatments the pain stopped returning and now I see Gav on a 6 weekly basis to just make sure everything is healthy and there are no signs of further deterioration.
