Great website, friendly service. I took in some items to get a free valuation, they also suggested an appropriate auction that was coming up and a reserve price.

A great auction house but you certainly pay top welly for the pleasure...

Wonderful customer service; the fortnightly auctions have an excellent range of both antiques and furniture, with occasional specialist auction (the quarterly art sales have some excellent paintings).

It's a provincial auction house with a huge range of stuff for sale. However there are gaps in their expert's knowledge.

Good website and nice sales room. My first time at an auction I was unprepared for the additional 20% on top of the hammer price even though it was sign posted.

Not sure if this is the norm but considering both the buyer and seller get charged it looks like being auctioneers is a very profitable business indeed!

having put a bid of £ 95 for a chest of drawers and checked on line fantastic it went for £70 paid £25 for friend and van to pick it up bad news someone paid £70 and had already taken it

(January 9 2016)where I bought ONLINE a variety of antiques, including a very heavy etching press, some glazed pictures and a large quantity of Sunderland lustre and other ceramics.A very heavy load in all and every item carefullyand so professionally packed.! These diverse items arrived safe and sound, and punctuallydelivered, today: the packing of the items was excellent and the delivery slot completely punctual, and as arranged.

I have had some rather dismal experiences of buying at auction online and receiving not so well packed and disappointing items.
