Platform One Gallery

Group run by local artists, working to provide low cost space for local artists and crafts people. Exhibition space at The Platform Gallery, Todmorden

The gallery runs exhibitions monthly, with artist's from Calderdale and further afield. Entry to the gallery is free and open Wednesday to Sunday 11-4pm. Please feel free to pop in if you are waiting for a train!

We run an art class each Tuesday 1-3pm. Cost is £2 per session, which includes refreshments and art materials for beginners. The class allows you to take your own art to work on or take instruction from our volunteer teacher, Jack Jarman. It is a very relaxed class so feel free to paint what you want!
Please call the gallery before your first visit to check availability. You only pay for the sessions you attend and you are not required to attend every session. Just turn up when you feel inspired!

The Gallery is teamed with 12 studio spaces which are rented by members. These are all situated in the same building as the gallery. At current, all studios are occupied but there is a waiting list for anyone interested. Please call the gallery to enquire.

Booking the Gallery
The gallery is divided into two rooms which can be booked together or individually for exhibiting art work. Exhibitions run from the beginning to the end of each month. For more info, please contact the gallery directly.
