Topgolf Watford

It gets super busy during the holidays. The carpark gets full quickly. The restaurant is staffed by 3 people who can't manage a space that big. The choices of food are simple and easy but somehow the kitchen still managed to mess up our burgers. Can't recommend for food but the golf side of it is good. Avoid the peak times like weekend afternoons and school holidays.

The Vegetarian and I had a couple of games left over from the Surrey match so decided to get at it.

We arrived at 11am and walked straight on. Monday's (or prob any weekday outside of school hols) are quiet which is great if you don't want to wait around.

Top Golf is a great half day out, fun, competitive and prices similar to Ten Pin bowling outlets.

We ordered food after we had played and the Vegetarian had her eyes on the Halloumi wrap from the get go. She advised me that it was a good portion for the money (£6) that includes skin on fries.

I went with the vegetable skewers which came with rice and slaw and a portion of loaded tatter totts.

All in all, really good fun.

Essentially a well run place with excrement facilities. 2 tier driving range bays with food and drinks served at the bays. Friendly staff and well informed American Golf staff. Pity the range balls are so well used that they mostly don't fly accurately; many of the dimples are worn smooth. If they upgrade their balls I'd give 5 stars.

Good fun golf range style setup with target games. Popular with non golfers as well. Always busy.

Went to top golf with my company for a work social and it was brilliant. The venue was great, the game was fun, and everyone just had a really good time. The reason I decided to leave a review is specifically for the fact that the staff were so accommodating and helpful with my dietary requirements. As part of our package, we had a burrito buffet (which everybody said was amazing). Unfortunately, as I'm vegan, I couldn't eat most of the food. Before the food came out, a member of staff came and asked who the vegan was, as we had told them prior to our arrival that there would be one. He came over with the menu and had circled everything that was vegan, pointing out the ingredients and telling me that they would alter specific things so as to make them vegan friendly. They went out of their way to make sure that I had something to eat, which I was not expecting at all (I would have been happy with salad). I know it's a small thing, but anybody with dietary requirements will appreciate how rare this is, and it just made the whole experience more enjoyable than it already was! I would absolutely recommend!

Great place to take anyone new or experienced. Very enjoyable place with reasonable prices, I.e. £6 per game. The only thing that lets it slightly down is obviously if you come on a busy day you are waiting for a long time.

Really good fun for a day out. Staff are very friendly. Main issue is the waiting times - I think because it's so popular you can end up waiting for nearly 2 hours for a space. Think they need to organise the registration system better - paying for your game then booking your space in another queue is just a bit bizarre and can end up feeling like you're playing queue simulator 2000.

Great fun. Lovely staff and delicious food. Love the fact that it has a fully stacked bar and genuinely good food. The facilities are really good and you'll have fun even if you're rubbish at golf. Can get quite busy but has a lovely atmosphere considering this is golf! There is a reasonably sized car park but it gets full very quickly so you're not always guaranteed to get parking. Even still as long as you're with good company this is guaranteed fun

I'm not a golf lover, but I love topgolf. It has lovely food, decent drinks selection and a great atmosphere. The game itself is just super fun! I would highly recommend it to anyone with a competitive side

The new system (new to me because I haven't been in a while) does not work. I would rather be told how long I have to wait then watch a number on my phone screen to say where I am in the queue.
Also, maybe staff should say if there are events on, so you can pick whether to play at the bottom or top accordingly, instead of sitting there seeing 8 booths which are completely not used.

I don't really like golf and am certainly not any good at it. However, this was surprisingly enjoyable. I'm not sure of the long term appeal except for golf heads, but as a one off and certainly for a party it works. Their group doughnut platter was outstanding.

Its gotten busier over time which is great to see. Always good fun here
