My husband attended ward 15 day procedure unit today for a very sensitive procedure which was more difficult due to previous life experience. He particularly would like to thank his Consultant anaesthetist Ms Hall for her kind and compassionate care. He would also like to thank Consultant Ms Carney and the team on ward 15 for the care he received today. He felt as though he mattered and nothing was too much bother. Thank you every one for your kindness today

The Hospital it self is not too bad but if your on ward 2 they don't care about you. Very unhelpful staff.

Unfortunately, I was really disapointed With our experience. We waited nearly 2 hours to be seen (by what we thought would be a doctor) Instead we were seen by a nurse who sent us away as some of my son's sympoms had been present for nearly a week. Apparently they only treat 'urgent care' and a consistently high temperature 38-42' in an 18month old plus a rash and various other symptoms doesn't qualify. My problem is that after being unable to get a doctors appointment numerous times in that week we were again told to go there by our doctors surgery! Was made to feel like I was wasting time and not important in the slightest. System is failing.

Over all the time I have had to go to Wansbeck Hospital I have nothing but the best care from each and every person I have had to be treated by.

Had a procedure done today, at Wansbeck.
Lovely staff put me at my ease, and treat me brilliantly from start to finish.
Thanks.

Lovely staff. Hard working. Everything you want from an NHS hospital.

Underfunded, understaffed and overworked. Thank God for the commitment of the Doctors and Nurses. Thank you.

Just spent an afternoon with Mum whilst she had a consult and an x-ray at the Wansbeck. All of the staff, from the receptionist to the team of volunteers at the cafe by the stairs were polite and courteous. What a joy this hospital was to be in - even a regular patient insisted on finding somewhere to get my father a glass of water from when he began coughing.
5 stars guys - you are all a credit to the NHS.
